Stupid ADL had so much power on what happens in Italy it is crazy, without him freeing up Sarri we wouldn't be buying the two stars of Juve to help fund the Ronaldo transfer.

Now Perez/Lopetegui have to replace 50 goals somehow. I'm sure that both Benzema and Bale will perform better and will score more when Ronaldo is gone, but they still have to buy a bunch of goals. Who is the player that can score 35+ goals and is available ? Madrid will throw huge chunk of cash towards PSG and I hope that it's not for Neymar. That guy became a joke and the meme of the WC. Another option, that I see, is Icardi + other players, but I doubt that he wants to leave Inter.

Hazard played a much better WC than de bruyne.
Its a pity only one of them always turns up for a game and the other disappears

Heart: Ronaldo to Juventus, Dybala to Barcelona, Dembele to Arsenal.
Head: Ronaldo to Juventus, Dybala to Barcelona, Dembele to Chelsea, Arsenal getting Victor Moses.

maybe its de bruyne playing so much deeper at club level made him completely forget how to play up the pitch for his country

It probably also has to do with mental and physical fitness. City players are more burned out than other club players since they were pushing every league game

Good luck and thx for amazing 9 years in RMA!
Honestly that is false. Serie A is way more challenging than Liga in my opinion. In serie A even the shittiest team can win against the top dogs, while in the Liga this basically never happens. The fact that Juventus steamrolls everyone is a bad indicator, as they are way above the other teams. Check out teams like Sassuolo or Atalanta, which have ridicolous small low budgets yet manage to sneak into Europa League and stay afloat by selling some players at the end of the year. Ronaldo's salary is more than all of Sassuolo combined.
There are also many interviews by famous players/trainers who give Serie A the edge. According to Ibrahimovic, serie A is the hardest league for strikers, Tevez said that it is harder than Premier League, Conte too.
But it is also quite a pointless discussion imo. I've always looked at Spain has a duel between barcelona and real madrid. Italy was way more competitive and in fact if you were to remove juve, Serie A could have 7-8 potential winners.

Someone like Hazard is effective as long as you find him some 1on1s, but De Bruyne needs to sync up with the surrounding teammates much more.

Offft! Jorginho choosing Chelsea and London of Pep and Manchester! Napoli owner De Laurentiis confirmed this and now all the press junkies are on it. ADL comment was he had agreed a deal 15 days ago with City for Jorginho but the player choose London and Chelsea over Manchester even without Sarri.

Weird terms of "challenging" you got there. Serie A is mostly defensive football with a single strongest team. There is nothing challenging in it. It used to be much better back in days. Saying lower teams never wins versus beast like RMA/Barca means you are not in focus of LaLiga. Not even mentionaing Atletico Madrid, Vallareal, Valencia and Sevilla. Besides take a look at international winners of the last 5 seasons in UCL/Europa League. You guys could not even make it to World Cup lol, that's a challenging thing for Italy indeed not to get to the finals lol.
Local TV networks are not even providing Serie A to subscribe, because there is no demand, people like to watch EPL/La Liga for a reason.
Meanwhile Yarmolenko from Borussia to West Ham.

tbh people watch epl and la liga for reasons compltely unrelated to league quality. epl is a no brainer due to it being an english league. la liga only took over serie a in popularity thanks to cr7/messi. nowadays you almost never find a young football fan of ac milan/inter that isnt italian. id argue that a long time ago ac milan/inter had as many fans globally as rm did. easily more than barca

Or Tottenham Dembele lol?

Wow sarri would be exciting stuff. Finally a manager that plays aggressive football, instead of being overly defensive/tactical. A manager that coaches an attack rather than rely on individual brilliance.
I read that jorginho is a DM? Wonder how he will work in tandem with kante. Does he play like a deep lying playmaker, or is he a box to box?
Also going with back 4 would leave the problem of where to field Dave. I like him, but he is useless offensively as a full back. I think he will be a suspect if played as a cb pair too. Sadly Conte's back 3 best suits him.
With sarri, I think Morata may flourish. At least he no longer is left isolated and forced to play as a target man.
Oh well. Getting rid of conte is good no matter what though.

I predict Chelsea fans want to get rid of Sari in two years at the latest.
Anyone want to take that bet?

Jorginho is the key to Sarri ball a guy who plays one touch and at max two touch football with an eye for a cesc like pass to boot. He is basically a Paul Scholes / Xabi Alonso player, a deep lying playmaker who can move around.
Should be indeed going into a 4-3-3 with Sarri as well. Dave might be "useless" offensively by Hysaj was Napoli right back and he plays exactly same was as Dave does.

i think jorginho will fit well with kante; let jorginho just sit ahead of the defense while kante does the hard work

Yes. This season Real Madrid only lost against Barcelona, Betis, Villareal, Espanyol, Girona, Sevilla and it only drew against Athletic Bilbao (x2), Atlético Madrid (x2), Levante (x2), Valencia, Barcelona, Celta and Villareal. It never happens.

Well it's easy to accept the failure as rebuilding progress if we're seeing high tempo aggressive football. Our previous managers were mainly defensive tacticians. Our entertainment comes from winning and not style, so what good are they if they don't win games? Moreover, there is evident stagnancy or regression in the squad. We don't even have youngsters to cheer for.
I look at liverpool and their failure to win trophies, but I see progress. I see hope and optimism. If sarri requires the same time to rebuild like klopp does, I'm more than happy to support him.
Side note, just wanna mention that my last straw with Conte was him playing super defensive football against Man City when we were so many points behind off the race. Zero ambition.
