Interesting point. I was copying your reddit posts i guess you consider yourself a fool, so we do agree on some things. You really need some new material. I wish you could post like a normal human being and not just try and make people mad to get attention. I also am happy you have made a friend! It wasnt that long ago he was making fun of you for you saying hill was a better signing then Paul and lowry because all short pgs age poorly.
Feel free to keep posting when wiggins has a bad night. Im sure it will happen a few more times this year. Ill just keep laughing at your attempts to troll.
Its sad because I would like to chat with others about how the new look cavs looked, with their bench carrying the starters but you will hijack the conversation into some nonsensical rant about how Hill was spectacular, even though his box score was bad again. If I just say Hill is amazing can I ask the others what they thought? Or do you need to interject?
Blackjack, what did you think of the new Cavs? Do you think the new bench can keep playing like that? Was it just an off night from the starters or are they going to continue to get abused inside?
No I just go to reddit for laughs since you posted the link here 13 times. I find it really enjoyable to watch your stats posts get slammed by a bunch of different people instead of just the same few here. I do wish you would post more there, but after the last couple of thrashings you really slowed down and just posted "you mad bro". So when you posted here about reading into emotions I thought I would set you up to do it again to your own words. And as usual you delivered. If you make it impossible to chat on this thread I may as well get kicks out of you insulting yourself!
Edit: I've changed my mind whats your twitter? If it is as funny as your other posts and mixed in it is common news already posted by actual NBA insiders, I'm sure its great for a laugh as well!
i think the phrase i use is "u mad bro?". notice the question mark. so its a question. i have no idea another poster's emotional state. so i'm asking a question. contrast that with your declaration which was "damn you mad!". claiming knowledge of my emotional state. you can see the difference there.
again, attempting to ascertain the emotional state of a poster is a fool's errand.
back to basketball: Should Tyus Jones (a) get more minutes? (b) get the start over Teague?
my perspective: i'd like to see the Jones+(Starters not including Teague) 5 man unit get used more by Thibs. if that means starting Jones then so be it. Whatever it takes to get that line up more playing time.. do it.
Jones + ( Minnie Starters ) is the #1 net rating line up in the NBA with over 200 minutes of court time. Use it!
The Kings almost torpedoed the Cavs-Jazz-Kings trade because they wanted somebody to take their draft bust. They included it in their draft proposal late even though it was never talked about. LOL Kings
LOL, for one thing I had no idea he had a rap about him. I think I prefer the Zinger one.
The spurs are an amazing example of what great coaching and a great system that everyone buys in can do. I think you are right about the playoffs though.
That article was a great read. I had heard the Clippers were involved, very interesting to read all that goes on behind the scenes. So many little details to a trade.
The Spurs highlight one of the differences between the playoffs and the regular season. The playoffs are a sprint. You can play at full speed. The regular season is a marathon. You have to conserve your energy. Teams with a deep bench and an offensive system that generates easy buckets can do better in the regular season. The longer rests in the playoffs let one on one star players shine more.

True, but you also have more rest days in the playoffs and are able to game plan more since you have the time to game plan and possibly 7 straight games to make adjustments.
Wiggins @ 43% shooting over 55+ games and taking a million shots has laid enough bricks to build a fucking giza sized pyramid.
Porzingas will be out 10 months. ouch. ACL used to be 6 months. Apparently, they are spending time with "neurological reprogramming" which lengthens recovery time even though the player/patient is at 100% full muscular strength. George St-Pierre was 1 of the 1st athletes to employ what used to be labelled "voo doo" rehab methods. All new knowledge begins as heresy i guess.
No Embiid tonight after playing 24 minutes 2 nights ago.
I wonder if Bos is going to get pressured for not making any moves. (unless you count monroe) They got crushed by the Cavs and now look lifeless and are getting man handled by the Clippers.
And for our troll.
A sampling of people who have a worse shooting % then wiggins: Blake Griffin, Kris Dunn, Devin Booker, Lauri Markkanon, Kemba Walker, John Wall, Kyle Lowery, Marc Gasol, Mello, Dinwiddie.
If you want to make his shooting % look bad you should use his eFG, because he is pulled down by his very poor FT shooting. Theresome of the people worse then him are, Dinwiddie, Mello, Batum, Wade< Nurkic, Some guy named Russell Westbrook, Lavine, Schroder, Bradley, Rubio, Wall, Ball.... so on.
Kobe shot worse then he is right now in 10 of his seasons. If you are attempting to make Wiggins look bad you need to use mixed advanced stats like RAPM or PIE shit like that, if you are gonna hate on him do it right at least.
Yawn you trolling is getting so boring, wasn't it just a couple weeks ago when you were saying that you were not a wiggins hater but thought he was an average player that we becoming above average? And now you all ragey about him, when he is shooting better then Dinwiddie who you slober over and over. I guess when your goal is to instigate and troll you have no need for constancy or substance.
Boston has been playing 500 basketball since Jan 5, but have looked particularly bad since their loss to the Raptors.
Mostly it looks like they just can't score enough.
Neato breakdown I've just looked up... they started the season 21-5 to Dec 8, then went 10-5 up to Jan 5, and have been 8-8 since. Looks kinda like a downward trend to me.
Edit:
Same date splits for the Raptors (I realize the number of games don't match, but want to show the relative consistency)
16-7 to Dec 8 11-3 Dec 9 - Jan 5 13-6 Jan 5 - Feb 13
I'd like to see Casey experiment with taking out his starting unit after the 6 minute mark if they start out playing like they did tonight. The Raptors starting unit began the game playing badly.
i thought the "shift to Vegan" was responsible for all the positive things emanating from Celtics-ville. Maybe Stevens needs to hit a Burger King and order 15 whopper meal deals for his players to shock them out of this slump.

From what I know about sports in general, that doesn't usually happen with rookies.
They're young, and I suspect that opposing teams have simply adjusted to them. That usually happens faster than rookies are able to make their adjustments in response. More often than not, it requires a lot of work in the off-season and subsequent season afterward. The "sophomore slump" isn't just a cliche, it's a real thing, mostly because of the time it takes for young players to make the necessary adjustments to their game, find their role, and really hit their stride.
Take Andrew Wiggins for exam- .... Just kidding ;-)
Any idea if Tatum and Brown spent any time in the D-League like most of our young Raptors squad? I feel like Raptors905 is already paying huge dividends this season.
I don't know if it is a myth or not but they always talk about it based on the season being so much longer then the college season. But opponents adjusting to them and game planning for them, exploiting their weaknesses makes more sense. Though the longer season makes sense to me as well so could be both to some degree.
I think the issue with sending them to the Dleague is they are both starters right now!
