Bo Jackson's injury is such a freak event that only a super human RB has a chance at that happening. There are plenty of things that can end his carrier at QB though its not like hes going to be a kicker. Those people actualy are protected. It was the Bucs, not the Chiefs

College baseball is similar to "High A" or "A+" ball. Odds are its going to be 2+ years before Murray is an MLB-er.

Jackson held out for an NFL team willing to allow him to play the entire baseball season and then join the NFL team in October. I can't see an NFL team allowing Murray to play an entire minor league baseball season and then joining the NFL team sometime in September. College baseball is similar to "High A" or "A+" ball. No guarantees he ever gets there, baseball prospects are far from a sure thing If it interests anyone: http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2018?list=oak

There’s some weird exception. I think you can’t block grad transfers at all but I don’t think this guy graduated

Not that I care about any ACC teams, but I don't see how it makes sense to allow Pitt to poach Clemson's backups.

If they finish their degree they should be allowed to pursue education somewhere else. Their commitment to your school is over I get it for people who are just transferring anywhere as an undergrad. The point is to now have it turn into college free agency

I mean Hurts is a great example. If he looks good at Oklahoma what will the NFL think? If they are smart they will think nothing. If he had transferred to Minnesota and shows something, now Im impressed.

TBH, I even think Hurts to Oklahoma is rude (same with the Clemson guy to Ohio State). Why cant you just preserve your status at the first school and do a Joe Flacco at Delaware? The only reason to transfer is to get more chances to show your skills to the NFL, and you can do that at basically any school. Its not like the top 10 programs have a monopoly on top 10 picks. In many ways you show yourself off more as a QB at a smaller school. I mean Hurts is a great example. If he looks good at Oklahoma what will the NFL think? If they are smart they will think nothing. If he had transferred to Minnesota and shows something, now Im impressed. What about coaching changes? If you’re a TE in 2007 and you commit to GT and then the school hires Paul a Johnson in 08 whose offense doesn’t feature your position are you saying the person should just have to transfer down a division because of choices outside their control?

That's fair, but again it's not about education.
