Austria losing 4-1 to Israel Scotland's struggling vs San Marino (1-0 up after 60 minutes0 after losing to Kazakhstan 3-0 Ireland struggling past Gibraltar 1-0 Croatia go from world cup finalists to just scraping past Azerbajan 2-1 into drawing 1-1 vs Hungary now losing 2-1
Germany have huge questions marks against them as well going into the game vs the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, England blasting :D

Meanwhile, England blasting :D Yeah Austria game was pretty mediocre. Good for us, Poles >.< We have a swine flu epidemy, so I hope we can perform today, despite few of our core players being ill (rumors says that Piatek will play since 1st minute - and that's a good news).
Also Germany vs Netherlands today

This German team confuses hell out of me lol. Some form of 3-4-3 without a recognized striker with Reus and Werner on the bench 0.o

I wonder what exactly happened? Since I never watched bundesliga.

Even if you watched Bundesliga, you wouldn't have seen Sanches last season. He was loaned to the Premier League. But got benched there for most of the season. Got only 12 apps with 700 minutes over a full PL season at Swansea.
Surely it's all Bayerns fault and he is such a great player :D

Oh wow, what a game
2-3
tbh at least these 2 teams looks leagues better than they did like just a year ago

Who is that Schulz guy?
Damn he is good, and Neuer was fantastic. de ligt, Depay and De jong looked great on Netherlands
|
Losing in final minutes to Germany.. Thats a classic
I liked how we played though. So many cool combinations and great work ethic. Defense not really up on the level they reach at clubs.
Seems like Löw revitalized the team a lot though. Not sure any of the big 3 he banned were missed today
|
Schulz not going to stay long at Hoffenheim huh? ^^
|
I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think Löw had it in him to revamp this team, but I am impressed. Not only did he replace the old guard, he also did a 180 tactics wise, going away from possesion based football into a faster, more explosive kind of playstyle. The game could have gone either way obviously, and I'm not convinced that Ginter/Süle/Rüdiger is the best back 3 we have available, but the overall direction is a positive one.

He slipped, that was unlucky.

Sane strong in first half yes but you also saw how weak he can be in the second half.
Impact reus had was incredible

He was playing as a striker though in some stupid weird Low crazy formation. So he scores plus points for that as well.

Our new offense is so much better now: Speed, control, creation. Defense has a lot of work ahead still
It was nice to see we are not that far behind, despite that the break happened just so recent. By the time Euro 20 starts we should be a top 5 team again
|
I don't think there is a single team in Europe that's really ahead. Everybody is rebuilding apart from France, Belgium and maybe England. The former not playing great football, and the other 2 with a few weaknesses. The Euro should be fun, after a most likely boring groupstage.
|
I guess if Spain will stop sucking after being terrible in two worlcups and one eurocup, all of them in a row. They don't have to win the whole thing, but it would be nice if they reach QF or SF against a good rival and they give a good image.

well France did not need Laporte so I dont see a falling out there
