Oh... lets say we WON'T give out the reps, denying a service we already provided, then provide them anyway... people will think we're really going the extra mile!" No. In fact, I'm embarrassed that we're all falling for it. In addition, I propose we examine the amount of business SC2 provides and plot it on a line graph next to the amount of business all other MLG disciplines provide combined, then on another line graph, plot the proportions of the prize pools. I imagine sundance with a troll face going "problem?" Actually, he probably wouldn't acknowledge it at all... he'd just do this thing with replays again... "HEY, LOOK OVER THERE!!!!" pay no attention to the man behind the curtain folks...... I'm not sure what to make of this. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes. I don't know when they realised that the data contained in relays can be used to jeopardize their tournaments. I don't know when this started occurring and if the decision they made to not release the replays is a result of this. What I do know is that they are releasing the replays now; and for this we should be thankful. Big evil company or misunderstood representatives; the release of the replays is a huge service to the sc2 community regardless of ulterior motives. Thankyou MLG.

"HEY, LOOK OVER THERE!!!!" pay no attention to the man behind the curtain folks...... I would imagine that those opposed to releasing replays were the Korean players and their teams. Korean players are much more secretive with builds than foreigners tend to be. Koreans stream less frequently and release replays less often. Now that MLG and GSL have a partnership, I think that the GSL will probably try and prevent replays from being released. Again, this is completely speculation on my part, but I think my reasoning is pretty sound (even if they aren't the actual reasons haha)

Now players are coming to foreign tourneys and seeing the foreign fans and communities a lot of players are now streaming and I don't think the reps are much of an issue. But that's just my speculation =]
