Grubby, a leading figure in eSports, is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with TwitchTV, the world’s largest video game broadcasting community. TwitchTV and Grubby will cooperate on multitude of projects throughout next year, delivering to fans a slew of new and exciting content.
Since the inception of the Grubby brand, Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen has striven to live up to the expectations of his fans and his own ideals of how he believes a professional athlete should carry himself. To that end, Grubby has produced an unrivaled amount of content such as video blogs, commentaries and live streaming, giving fans heretofore unparalleled levels of access. Now, with the help of TwitchTV, Grubby hopes to shatter previous expectations of how eSport fans and players should interact with one another.
Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen adds, “I am delighted to announce TwitchTV as an official partner for 2012. TwitchTV has displayed an exceptional amount of involvement in eSports and has paved the way for streamers like myself and others to provide fans with a consistent flow of entertainment. I’m excited to work with TwitchTV to upgrade the production quality and overall experience of my stream. With TwitchTV’s support, I look forward to another amazing year of chasing my dreams and aspirations.” Over these past few years JustinTV, and their gaming arm TwitchTV, have grown to become the largest game oriented streaming platform anywhere in the world. The ardent support by passionate eSport fans helped TwitchTV come out on top of what is an incredibly competitive market and now they are returning that support in spades. Professional gamers, events and casters are all now better publicised, more stable financially and becoming increasingly more media savvy all thanks to the platform and partner programs offered by TwitchTV.
Grubby himself believes strongly that while using one hand to ascend the ladder of success, you should use the other to pull up those who helped you while you were at the bottom. This shared ideology is at the core of the new partnership and will have a heavy hand in shaping the aforementioned joint projects.
With the platform and resources provided by TwitchTV, Grubby fans can look forward to an exciting period of innovation and accessibility concerning Grubby media over the coming year.

Hey, he was just helping his sponsor sell a product. He can't just ignore features that a keyboard has. Built in macros are used by MMO players all the time. Clearly he does not feel it should be used in SC2.

Nice. I was watching Grubby's vlogs on his YouTube page last night. I like how he tries to stay active and make content for his fans. Good luck to the both of them.

Great. I really enjoy watching him play and would love to see more. Will Grubby being bringing other players to Team Grubby?

The Grubby invitational series is one of my favourite tournament series to watch. Hopefully this will help bring an even better quality broadcast for that event.
If not, i'll just be happy to see him streaming a bit more.

Awesome! I wonder if Grubby has plans to add players to his team. I remember him saying in an interview last Summer that he would possibly be adding players by the end of 2011 but that never happened

I would like Grubby to stream more, with commentary if possible. He was so insightful at Homestory IV.
|
I hope we get to see more streaming from Grubby now
|
good for him
...but I wish he would just join a top team and move in to a teamhouse. He got so much potential, i feel like he needs a pro house to achieve it.
|
cant wait til he starts streaming more i enjoyed watching his games at hsc4...despite his immortal sentry zealot "allin" being way too risky in a ton of cases if the Z scouts it
|
sick pickup grubby! Congrats ~

Best of luck to Grubby. He did some nice commentating on HSC

They couldn't have picked a better player to sponsor. Good luck in 2012 Grubby!

I think Grubby should partner with Grubby, not Twitch. Just sounds better
Grubby - founder of team Grubby, captain of team Grubby, champion of the Grubby invitational AND sponsored by none other than Grubby himself
