The arrival of a new player at Millenium is not a surprise to most of you, due to many clues foreshadowing the exciting news. This news comes hardly three months shy after the arrival of Dragon in our line-up. A new recruit further strengthens the workforce in early summer, by none other than one of the Brood War legends Park "fOrGG" Ji Soo.
Park Ji Soo is none other than one of 15 winners of the Brood War based, MSL tournament won by the legendary likes of Flash or Bisu. He announced he had retired in late December 2010, before changing his mind and playing Starcraft 2 in July 2011 under the pseudonym "Raptor".
Our Terran player's rises to the spotlight as he competes in Code A this season. He has been a constant presence in either Code S or Code A, defeating players such as Sage, Polt, and July.
The entire Millennium team is delighted by the arrival of Park "fOrGG" Ji Soo, who will bring a touch of experience to the team to get closer to our goals. You'll see the end in Code A and OSL in the coming weeks, but also with the team STLG TSL to try to win the title of Supreme Team!
holy cow all of a sudden millenium is one of the very best foreign teams. in regular team league format if stephano doesnt get sniped im not sure who can beat that lineup now
great that forgg will attend foreign tournaments too

Nah I think that liquid has better Lineup with Taeja and Hero..
In Mill you can really count only on Stephano and Forgg ( hopefully ), Feast is kind of out of shape because of his exams, Adel can pull an upset here and there, and the rest of the team have to improve yet.

disapointed, millenium is a charity'steam, they recruit korean players that they just want travel i guess, forGG, the new korean ghost of millenium (with dragon)
edit: at least forgg will be enough good to make some result in clan war
Apparently Dragon and stephano already did some customs with him, of course he smashed Dragon, don't know the results against stephano but in the intro video of ForGG you can see stephano saying "wp" against him.

Since GSTL uses "TSL-M" to introduce the team , I don't see why they couldn't use him.

You're funny
I'm not trying to be funny. Stephano has never been in korea or played in the GSL (besides the blizz cup, where he got owned). Doing well in a couple of foreign events does not an MSL champion usurp.

Roaster can't be changed during a season, so since fOrGG wasn't with Mill. when they registered the players available to play GSTL, he can't before next season.

I remember in earlier seasons, when a player was added mid-season, they were not eligible because they were not on the roster at the start of the season. May have changed, though.

For GSTL you must give your player list at the start of the season. And it was 3 weeks ago. TSL can't use him in this competition.

Yeps Stephano and ForGG will join the TSL lineup
Actually no. Only Stephano and Adel are included in the TSL roster for this season. Maybe in future GSTL competitions.
As for staying at the TSL house, if fOrGG is interested, we can start talking about that but as of now there are no plans for him to move into the TSL house. He's planning to finish up GSL this season and plans to stay in the Mill house for a while.

You're actually wrong here too. Millenium is not a charity team and they don't fund korean players to foreign events unless they prove their worth to a certain extent. Please don't go spewing out false information if you don't know things correctly. I can 100% vouch for this.
Congrats fOrGG I hope you do super well in the foreign scene now!
After having seen fOrGG streaming for hours on end, the dedication he shows, interacting with his viewers, I am so happy that he has joined a solid team and will have the opportunity to travel the world and enjoy himself playing Starcraft 2.
With his sharp, play-to-win style,I can see him ripping up the foreign tournament scene.
I'm sure that Stephano being well known in Korea and a big name was a major factor in fOrGG's decision to go with Millennium. Unfortunately, it's likely that Stephano will be leaving Mill. I hope fOrGG doesn't get too upset/disillusioned about that.
I'm really looking forward for this, i've heard so much things about ForGG and never really had the chance to see him in GSL leagues. I'm happy we'll be able to see him more on foreign events ! Gratz to both Millenium and ForGG
Congratz to both parties, glad (in a way) that SuperNova is still free... Liquid hope forever ^_^ Anyways I hope forGG can put up a good showing in the rest of his GSL matches
Lol, just thought to something with their partenariat with TSL, maybe TSL members could play with Millenium in Team League. Can't imagine Millenium line-up with players like Symbol and Polt.

TSL is already scheduled to be playing with Millenium in GSTL. They play all other team leagues separately.

He beat DRG and Hero, lost to MotherfuckingVP and Mc in a very close game...-_-
So excited. :D I'm really glad he got picked up by a team that will send him to more foreign events, too. He's one of my favorite terrans and his stream is awesome, so it's disappointing to only see him in GSL, and only for a little bit if he gets beaten each season. ): MLG/IEM/DH gogogo~

forgg fighting! ive never cared much about millenium but i am a huge forgg fan. as to whether or not stphano is better then forgg, there certainly isnt a definite answer. the replies seemed to be that one wasd definitely better then the other... forgg stomped his way through code a twice with two attempts and stephano has a ton of great results. theyre both great players.
I hope that Fin likes it in mill. I really hoped that he'd do good when I made it to code a the first time since the hype and all. Best of luck forGG!!! One of the few players I enjoy watching when he streams.
Ever since forgg starting playing sc2, he's been by far my favorite player, every strategy that he does is very unique and very thought out, this is an awesome pickup for Millenium. He's one of the most solid korean players out there. He has several accounts in GM Korea too, at least 3 that i know of.
saw it coming but I still look forward to seeing forGG do well outside of the GSL, he is a talented guy and its good that he finally gets the chance to show it.
Good to see he finally is in a team, wishing the best for ForGG.
I wonder if he may go to the TSL house to practice since they do have a partnership with Millenium after all, that is before possibly going to the Millenium Team House?
Are there any last things you would like to say? Would you like to say something to both your fellow Korean teammate Dragon, and to the Millenium Fans?
I'm aware that Dragon has joined Millenium prior to my recruitment and has been both playing and adjusting well to the new environment. He has helped me a lot in the past and I hope he continues to assist me when I join the team house. I will practice hard and produce good results so that I can live up to the Millenium fans' expectations. I would like to ask for your support/cheering.
Wait... whaaaaat? I thought they had beef with each other LOL. This will be interesting xD
Anways..., forGG you've been teamless for far too long. CONGRATS MAN :D

So, ForGG is joining the Mill team house in France with Dragon. Does that mean he won't be in Korea for the GSL/GSTL or is it only temporary?

Who would he play for in the GSTL?
TSL , since the Millenium-TSl partnership, Stephano and Adelscott are in TSL roster in gstl but the fact is ForGG cant play for TSL because he have to register before the competition start.
ForGG wont join the Millenium house for the moment and will play GSL, etc, Llewellys ( Millenium manager ) asked him to make the MLG qualifier but he failed it.
This is awesome news. I love fOrGG so him getting support is great but maybe another team that I like more than Mill can still pick up SuperNoVa (maybe Liquid ^^)

Yeah , probably , when you know Dragon was sometimes the "translator", we can imagine how his english is :p
Then , you should ask Dragon then he will tell ForGG, Dragon already tried one qualifier but I dont think he is really aware too since today he tried go4sc2 , playhem and some antec cup during the qualifier
Yay! Now I know the names of TWO players on team Millenium!!!
Really good for them, ForGG is pretty sick. When he first appeared at GSL, I was amazed at how well he did. Since then, he seems to have cooled off a bit, but hopefully we'll see him pick up the pace now that he can smell the other top class BW players sniffing at his heels.
Also, Stephano's now going to have a solid Korean Terran player to practice with - which might help him improve his already impeccable ZvT.
ForGG and Dragon on the same team, hmm lol. Anyways, Congrats to Millenium and ForGG. He's such a hard worker and as mentioned, streams a lot. Amazing player and great pickup TT dance!

Or if he even shows up, though forGG has alot to show before we think this addition is of any greatness. I still place Mil. behind Liquid, Fnatic, and EG seeing as how they have few accomplished players the only one being Stephano. Feast is good but still needs time and im not high on Adelscott nor forGG till the ladder proves something which at least to me he hasn't yet done in sc2.

Dude, being able to stay in GSL is a feat by it's own. He's a Code A / Code S ro32 class player, that's already better than all europens players beside 4 or 5.

Nope, Korean server in better by far but you can train in European server and still manage to up your level , you have just to not just beat your opponents but crush them like Stephano did in some crazy ladderun :D
Glad to see the oGs players finding a team. This team has such strong names and if tarson doesn't go rogue for months after showing strong results in tournaments they'd be even more powerful!

Meh, he is 5-7 in team leagues (GSTL, IPL TAC 2, KSL) losing to B- and bad A-Teamers. Don't think their team league strenght will increase significantly.
Finally.. was hard to see such an underated player pending teamless for so long. Also good catch for Millenium.. diffrent from my OP i see Millenium far stronger in team contests now.

Are you serious? They have one of the most solid code a/s terrans in korea now. forGG may not have MKP levels of team league dominance but he's easily a cut above millenium's terrans.

The writing in the OP is a little off though. I never understood why teams don't have a native English writer to make posts like these.
It's perfectly readable, but you can tell the OP's native language isn't English and there are quite a few mistakes.
I see one thing that's incorrect and that's my fault for not editing it correctly so I apologize. Teams don't hire esports writers for the most part; most positions are voluntary so it's hard to find someone who puts out content on demand. Millenium does have native English speaking staff, and TSL helps them with the Korean content.
YES! I've been a fan of ForGG ever since he took out Jaedong and Flash to win his MSL championship. Now I can finally meet him in person at foreign tournaments!
Mill is getting a pretty fucking sick line up. They will be a serious threat in team leagues now between feast, forgg and stephano people will really worry when they are up against them.
the goal of millenium is always to send their good players at many tournament as possible if llewellys think that they deserve that. forGG will surely come in the millenium House in france but right now he has to play GSL, maybe he will go in the TSL house ? I think welcome forGG is one of the greatest action fo the sc2 millnium team, because it'll may be help to keep stephano, it'll help a lot in clan war and help to stop "millenium is nothing without stephano".
Is Tarson still active ? I thought he stopped playing SC2 because of the university.
He made long break ( several month ) and he lost a lot of skill but he is in "training mode" since the january and it's not easy for him to become as good as he was but this last week end, he just won the "EPS poland" over Diestar, Paranoid, Tefel and some other polish player.
6 sponsors and 3 webTV with an average 2-3k viewers , and also some players aren't really pro with salary, more like half student, half players, like Kleenex, Lalush, Diestar and Feast.
And a website with alot of unique viewers, plus what it looks like some sponsorised general videogame content. And if they where actually doing VODs properly they probably would get some more out of it.

that's actually fairly interesting, I didn't know that, but it makes a lot of sense. I'm always happen when koreans get picked up by international teams, because it means more koreans making it out to events around the world, instead of just a core few that make the rounds.

I think his point was that foreign teams are always chasing Koreans at any opportunity, which is odd whilst touting the whole global SC2 philosophy. These two put together form something of an inconsitency between what they want people to think (foreigners FTW), and what they themselves think (let's get some Koreans in so we can actually win something).
At least, that's what I read from the cynical tone of his post. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I understood the cowardly hidden message but age has little to do with the issues he is presenting. Besides that Millenium is clearly oriented towards its french scene, recruiting Koreans to recruit Koreans isn't their thing. Compared to EG (no koreans in the USA), or coL (same thing), Dragon is in France since the beginning of May and ForGG allegedly wants to come as soon as possible (most likely before Assembly) On this particular topic, Millenium's manager Llewellys has been very consistent since the beginning by saying recruiting Koreans must come at the price that these have to be willing to participate to foreign tournaments as well as using the training facilities of the team.
I think that travel for another country to live and be in contact with different culture and people, learn other languages is a very good experience for any1, and not many ppl have this opportunity. It's very good for the players as person too. Again, gl forGG, u rly deserve this spot.
forGG is such a beast that whatever team he lands on he will get good (great) results. In other words, Millenium is extremely lucky to have such a talented Terran player.
