There is probably a lot of saved up frustration from losing practice games and earlier games, trying time and time again to find a solid, stable way of playing, and not being able to.
No Terran wants to play TvZ straight up I think. I mean, You can find players who specialize at PvZ, PvP, ZvZ, TvT, TvP, but I don't think there's any Terran who call himself master of TvZ.
Isn't Taeja's best MU TvZ?
He's been more of a TvP specialist traditionally. Currently you'd be hard pressed to find any pro Terrans who say they like TvZ, let alone consider themselves specialists/masters. Compare that with the number of Zergs who say they like ZvT or even outright say it's Zerg favored, and you get a pretty clear picture of what the matchup actually looks like. Still, can't fault Sniper for trying to put down balance talk. If there was a ton of money on the line and I had an inherent advantage, I wouldn't want to lose it either.
Incorrect, Taeja during his prime months was much more known for TvZ than TvP. Pretty much the whole reason for his success was his ability to beat Zergs when no other Terrans could (and in fact Zergs would point to Taeja as evidence that MU wasn't imbalanced). Taeja's TvP has never been mind blowing.

I agree, but it's pretty difficult to balance one matchup without affecting the other ones.
I think it has more to do with the fact that Terran is the only well-designed race, so TvT is the only good mirror matchup.

Even minor cosmetic things could improve them though. Making infested terran eggs based on team color and giving roaches a stronger team color would make it seem like much less of a clusterfuck during late game engagements. It would even help the players.

Nobody said game 5 was proof of imbalance... it's the culmination of tournament results for the past few months and the fact that even Blizzard has admitted there are problems with the game balance atm, specifically blord/infestor.

Incorrect, Taeja was known for both his TvZ and TvP. His TvP's never been "mindblowing" but it was for sure the best of any other player at his prime. Remember TAeja vs First finals? Yeah, that was a steamroll

Even before the "IMBA IMBA IMBA" the LR thread was full of people whining about what an injustice Sniper's victory was. Ryung is very good but let's not kid ourselves, not many people predicted him to reach the finals, he has only reached the Ro8 once (over a year ago. And once in the super tournament) and he was knocked out of IPL5 by Scarlett and HuK. Plus both him and Sniper just flew to the US and played for two days in IPL5, so neither of them are at their peak. AND HE LOST 2-3! There's plenty of stuff to latch on to if you want to complain about balance, but I don't at all blame Sniper for being upset when both Ryung and the community single him out and claim that he is undeserving.
You REALLY think sniper is a better player than Ryung? Really?
Yes, I do
me too
Dito ! snipers play is great ! Ryung is good but the imba comments were tastless , i can absolutely garauntee that sniper would of said nothing about terrans maybe even said that zerg is favored if ryung didn draw first blood . Too be honest though ryung didnt play his best and lost because of it .
It would be a shame to see in the finals of the best league a player who lost to Scarlett and HuK and was knocked from the IPL so badly. Sniper deserves his spot <3 he was good since the beginning of this year when he easily defeated PuMa in prelims I am very happy to see Life and now HyuN and Sniper in finals much better then shitty TvT finals and terran imba wins last year <3<3<3
HyuN and his advisor Symbol vs Sniper and his advisor DongRaeGu awesome Finals!
"Ryung stated "IMBA" in the chat right at the last minute.
Terran players are shameless. I know that a lot of people are calling Zerg imba these days but I honestly just think it's an excuse for people with no skills. Regardless of the map or race, the superior player always wins so I just don't understand why they behave that way. I don't even understand why sometimes the winning players start whining."
I think the Korean Terran players are just sick of innovating again as the OTHER races whine and get buffed. Beyond this just being a balance comment, look back:
Every single Factory and Barracks nerfed (tank damage decreased, thors have energy bars, hellion blue flame was nerfed after one MLG where everyone bitched about it. marine and mara have had stim nerfed, reapers (don't get me started), ghosts have had snipe damage decreased.) Even the banshee has been indirectly nerfed with a buff to spore crawler re-rooting speed.
Every single nerf came, and every single time, the Korean terrans, who EVERYONE called imba, boring, GOMTVT, whatever, beat the shit out of every other for the longest time, all without bitching.
I was pretty neutral towards both Hyun and Sniper before reading this, but now want nothing more than for Sniper to absolutely crush Hyun. Not even entertaining games. Just pure carnage.

Says the guy with zero results who happens to make it to the GSL finals.
i suggest you take a look at his record over the past few months.
...you mean, the past few months after the queen buff?
the exact same goes for hyun
maybe, but hyun didn't say what the guy quoted. ^^ in fact, he said zerg has the advantage in ZvT
Hyun also didn't face "IMBA IMBA IMBA" in the chat when he won. This looks more like a knee-jerk reaction from Sniper to Ryung than anything else.
Hello sniper fanboy, he did not say Ryung is shameless but calling terran PLAYERS shameless. So according to him, 1/3 of teamliquid users and myself are shameless people.
Before calling someone a fanboy at least try to understand how Sniper felt. He just got to the finals of the most prestigious and instead of gg'ing normally Ryung discredits his win. Combine this with all the zerg imba whine everywhere i am sure that was just the last drop and he sorta exploded, hence the knee-jerk reaction.
Yeah, I have to agree.
Hopefully people will forget about this after a while.
At this point, I want a random pro gamer. MVP has shown that he is actually good with all 3 races (he plays random on ladder last I heard).
Go MVP, come back as random and show us your balancing ways.
Of course inb4 RANDOM IS OP BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW THE RACE THE PLAYER STARTS AS (easy fix for Blizzard, just make the race revealed in the loading screen).
