Wow this is big. Good luck to complexity gaming

Awesome! Only a matter of time before TigerDirect gets in the game too. All the good news!
o.O, isn't this huge? Congratulations to CoL are in order i suppose! As a european, can somebody give me some numbers as how big newegg is? like as big/bigger than amazon right? I know from surfing the hardware forum that it is a very good place to shop in the US, but nothing else really... E-Sports fighting i guess!
Big sponsor for coL. Congrats.

It's one of the most dominate retailers in the US when it comes to Computer hardware and other accessories.
It seems to make sense that they sponsor coL. Creative SoundBlaster (another coL sponsor) was doing contests through Newegg recently.
Good luck to compLexity

A quality company jumping in? Count me in... Looks like I'll be buying lot's of sponsor's gear from this sponsor...
Love Newegg. Even if I don't always end up buying from there it is a great place to gather knowledge about products.

Lol definitely nowhere close to amazon, amazon basically owns online shopping in many categories, while newegg is just computer hardware. Still huge though, #1 online hardware retailer prob.

Wow, this is actually really cool. Congrats to Complexity!
Congrats to Complexity. Coincidentally, I totally thinking earlier today that Newegg should totally sponsor a team.
Allright! Go Complexity! What a huge sponsor, Newegg really getting brownie points with me for this one!
Newegg doesn't traditionally sponsor esports do they. They are an awesome company, already use them for all of my electronics purchases
"videos with music from UMG are not available in germany because GEMA is a piece of shit" thats what it says cant watch video is it anywhere else then on youtube ? GEMA make youtube block in germany more videos then china (we even have gangnam style blocked xDD)
Holy shit, seriously, wow. Congratulations. Wow.
Awesome! love newegg and very glad to see them support esports!
Best site for computers!
This news is huge, newegg is like one of the biggest online computer retailer.
I bought 90% of my hardware stuff from them anyway, guess I will continue to do so
First NCIX to CSL, now Col with Newegg
YUM
Big news! Thanks newegg and congrats to Complexity!
Quality sponsor, congrats CoL!
didnt they sponsor something in HoN before?
Oh awesome, that's a sick sponsor.
Well, I know where I am buying my next computer.
WoW this is really good for Complexity!! Congrats to them man! they've been getting not the best news recently. Really glad this popped up

This is really cool! You should try to get them to do an affiliate deal like Amazon does, where I can click through from complexitygaming.com to newegg, and a share of whatever is bought on that visit goes back to you
I know i'm going to buy a new computer soon, so i'd happily go through coL to do it
Very nice sponsorship. Congrats to them. I assume this means they'll be using some Rosewill gear now(since Newegg owns Rosewill)?
i bought hots from newegg

To add on this, Amazon is definitely bigger, but that's because Newegg specializes in computer hardware. As far as hardware goes, I don't know anybody at my college/on my CSL team who doesn't know of Newegg, and I would much rather shop at Newegg than Amazon if they sell it at Newegg. Prices there are often better (they have a ton of sales)
not to be outdone by NCIX! Tigerdirect, your move
alright! newegg is the bomb for computer parts! gj newegg ;D i will continue to support ya ^^
Great job!
Loyal customer since 2003, and will continue to be . Now for that GTX 670 and FX8350...
SC2 and esports is dying folks, really, its happening right now....now....
Awesome news. Congratz to complexity
never bought anything from them but its great. more incentive for players to practice harder now?
Wooow great sponsor for CoL, I don't even know how they even managed that. Gratz!

Not that this is related to the sponsorship, but unless you're the hardest AMD fan ever and don't mind sacrificing a ton of price/performance, you shouldn't buy an FX-8350 for gaming. The 130$ Intel i3 part performs pretty comparably for gaming.
(Unless you do heavily-threaded work that isn't gaming, but with a GTX 670 it seems you're a gamer )
Grats to Complexity, that's a big sponsor.
Awesome news. I buy all my computer needs from newegg. Great price, selection and service.
Nice! Newegg is fucking awesome, bought both my computers from them and I plan to get a mechanical keyboard soon from there as well.
This is a huge sponsor and makes a lot of sense!
Great news for complexity! Glad to see Newegg move into esports, I've purchased a few things from them for my desktop over the years!
NIIIIIIIIICE, great work complexity!
Heard of Newegg already and ye like some People already said that is really a huge deal, congratulations to Complexity Gaming.
That's really awesome to see newegg stepping into the scene, congrats to complexity!
HOLY CRAP. Conrgats to Complexity!
nice. Newegg is where I buy all my hw so grats for complexity on the sponsorship.
Holy shit. Go complexity!
damn whats with all these sponsors all of a sudden hell yeah.
Gratz, seems like a big deal. Complexity needs players able to represent them better tho. Beside qxc, they really don't have anyone that is actively marketizing their brand.
Love Newegg! Bought my computer from them at a wonderful price. Glad to see them gettin into sc2!
that's crazy! Newegg as a sponsor...They're very fortunate.
i dont even know if newegg is really getting much out of this because everyone already loves them and uses them for everything....its great for esports though!
Awesome! I almost exclusively purchase my computer components for my computer build/renovations. If you time things right there are some great deals on Newegg.
I don't know how big Newegg is, but seems kinda good thing.
This seems pretty cool. Of all the companies who could possibly get a real return from e-sports sponsoring I think newegg might be one. Only issue is it's probably really hard for them to tell, guess a survey to customers on "how you found out about newegg" or something could give some insight.

Hella big news! Was wondering if Newegg would ever become a sponsor. Glad to see it happening, especially for an organization like Complexity. Congrats!
Amazing. Love it when I hear about new sponsorships like this. Newegg is great for the scene. Good company, too.
You know, when a company sponsors a team usually the goal is for fans of the team to become "fans" of the company. In this case, however, as a happy customer of newegg I think I just become more of a fan of Complexity haha. Definitely seems like a good deal for both sides, I'll probably be a little more interested in Complexity now, and I have another good reason to buy things from newegg!

Canadians use NCIX.
I used to use Newegg for everything but I can usually get everything quicker from NCIX and I get to support a canadian company. Prices are comparable and they pricematch anyway.
I am a big fan of newegg and now I have one more reason to buy from them.
awesome sponsor pickup by Col, really really good. its nice to see bigger companies getting into esports
why didn't they sponsor TL instead??
awww yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhh. i get my stuff from newegg cause its cheap! GJ Col, thats a nice little + for esports. we need a few more of those every week and soon sc2 will be bigger than LoL again
Wow HUGE sponsor. Newegg is friggin' AMAZING.
sweet, now I like newegg even more :D
damn! awesome sponsor! newegg is top end, this is great for Complexity.

i wonder if any of the players will be playing with RoseWill Keyboards, NewEgg's IH brand...

newegg rocks ... congrats to complexity!

lol, reminds me when Pizza Hut sponsored the CPL during the CS days.
Does this mean that Complexity is going to start pimping out Rosewill products (Newegg's house brand)?
I love Newegg, this is awesome. Complexity's roster is looking a little thin these days and I feel like they've been burned by the majority of their big pickups, most of them were great either before coming to Complexity and then didn't perform as well (Nada, Ganzi, Killer, Heart), got a lot better after (Goswser) or just didn't pan out (Naniwa, Destiny). Hopefully this new sponsorship will allow them to beef up their roster.
Wow, this is quite impressive and awesome.
Great news! The company also has a presence here in Canada too.
Just got my new mouse from them today, happy to hear they're also supporting one of my favorite teams.

Not anymore. 8350 has largely caught up in multi-threaded games like Crysis 3. You should check out some benchmarks.
congrats! does anyone know what kind of sponsorship is this? As in, is it just for gaming equipment and accessories?
Wow! Always nice to see a new sponsor enter the scene. Even better that it went to Complexity! Thanks New Egg and gogogo CoL!
why sponsor complexity when prime needs some support D=
Sick, great sponsor of col, glad to see newegg getting involved in esports.

because that isn't how sponsorships work lol
On March 15 2013 14:11 asdfOu wrote: why sponsor complexity when prime needs some support D= LOL, because Prime is a Korean team when Newegg is a USA company AFAIK.

Have a feeling this wont last very long.
Newegg today...Walmart tomorrow. Go esports!

You can buy kitchenware on New Egg if you wanted. They have a lot! But Amazon has more shit like eBay does.
New Egg is huge. The best place to shop for anything electronic. Although I hear wires are cheaper elsewhere, you'll usually find the best prices for electronics on New Egg.
Congratz to coL. I was waiting for New Egg to join in on this, and was wondering who they would sponsor. Now we know ;D
congratulations, complexity. good luck! :-)
Congrats to them! It has to be huge for them.
Not a particular fan of Complexity Gaming, but a big fan of NewEgg!! Here's to hoping that they become a big player in the eSports business.
This is cool but I hope col starts promoting their sponsors more atively.
Awesome, my favorite electronics retailer joins my favorite team :D Awesome, I will continue to buy from Newegg as much as possible.
What a great pickup, I'd love to see some other big computer/electronics companies start doing this.. Larger names also bring a vaster audience.
Honestly, Newegg is my goto site when purchasing equipment for my computer (barring peripherals like keyboards/mice which I want to touch first), so I am really excited to see them get behind one of the oldest names in esports.
Keep it up guys!
Now hopefully Complexity can be a force to compete! Except CS 1.6 back in like '05-'06, coL has always been a second-rate team IMHO.
Good luck!
Very nice pick up assuming the funding level is anything near what a company like new egg should in theory be capable of.
Big sponsorship. I'm glad Newegg is supporting the eSports community since almost everyone buys their gear from their site.
According to Newegg's own promotional material, they are the #2 e-tailer in the US behind only Amazon. And this is even though they sell only computer hardware as opposed to everything. However, this information is from a couple years ago so I'm not sure where they stand now.
Great news! Going to celebrate by ordering my new SSD from them. Congratz guys
newwgg in esports, well thats pretty awesome!
woa pretty big lol. too bad newegg.ca blows, bought from them once never again.
This is huge, Congratulations Complexity and Newegg both!
That's great! I've been buying pretty much all of my computer parts and accessories from there for years and will continue to do so, but now for ESPORTS! :D
What an amazing sponsor, grats to coL !
Wow awesome, congrats to Complexity
Wow, newegg being awesome and Complexity getting more sponsors! GLHF!
Great job to CoL, really bringing in the sponsor money :D.
This is so awesome. I've been a huge fan of newegg for a long time. So glad to see them supporting eSports!
Fantastic piece of news, this really warms my heart, good job Complexity.
Way to go Complexity. Now use the money to recruit some new blood.
Any ideas what to do next? I’m not trying to imply anything but it’s common that teams and organisations employ many volunteers. And while they big stars draw attention it would be nice to see more organisations reward their staff instead of contracting some star player/personality.
