You haven’t secured an all kill in a while. How do you feel?
Honestly, I came out with the thought of only grabbing one or two kills but somehow I achieved an all kill. The all kill format (answer got cut off here :/)
You took a huge lead in the most wins award with your all kill today.
I really wanted to take a huge lead in the most wins competition. It feels so neck and neck having three players at 33 wins like that (laughs). But since the all kill format ends this week, I think my competition will have trouble playing catch up, no? (laughs) I think I’ll be a shoo-in for that most wins award even if I only end up grabbing one win every match from here on out. I’m really relieved (laughs).
You probable expected an all kill to come since your opponent would have been mostly Zergs after you won game one.
Honestly, I really did think that but I almost lost that game vs herO cause I made too many mistakes. Thankfully, I was able to win because herO also made mistakes since he got nervous. After I overcame that obstacle, I think my hands were fully warmed up.
herO made the mistake of giving away his high templars a little too easily.
In total, herO wasted away about eight high templars. Actually, in my mind, I think there were four more templars that he wasted away (laughs). So I started thinking that I was going to win around then.
As of late, Terrans have a really good win percentage vs Zergs.
During practice, I lose the most against Zergs. Honestly, at first, I didn’t think Zerg was a good race but I think they’re progressed forward a lot lately. I can’t help but think that maybe Zergs will be the superior ones in just a little bit. These days, Zergs have found out how to play against widowmines (laughs).
Tomorrow will be the WCS Korea Season 1 finals between INnoVation and Soulkey. What are you expecting to happen?
Honestly, they are really similar players. But it is the first ever finals for both of them right? So the end result will depend on who gets less nervous. I think skillwise, they are just completely on par. I’ve actually already helped out Soulkey so I think I should try to remain neutral. Terran has the advantage but Soulkey is rather strong against INnoVation so we’ll find out when the time comes.
Did you get sent out as the starter so you could secure an all kill?
The supervisor told me to grab an all kill (laughs). He kind of blackmailed me saying that this was my last chance and that he would like to see an all kill (laughs). I am relieved that I was able to win like this after getting sent out as the starter.
KT Rolster could end up taking 1st place.
I probably would have thought that as a possibility had Woongjin lost yesterday but they won. So now we have to focus on maintaining second place. Personally, I think grabbing second place is good. It’s really helpful when you can play during the playoffs so that you’re all warmed up for the finals.
Anything else you would like to say?
(This is a literal translation. I have no idea what Flash said here) Lately, I’ve been living without a mentality line (laughs). I was struggling because I caught a cold while the seasons were changing, so I hope everyone will watch out for colds. These days, I’m feeling the lack of exercise. Since the season for exposing oneself is coming, I hope everyone will exercise real hard (laughs). (This last sentence, I’m not 100% sure but I think Flash is saying that he hopes everyone will work out and exercise and look good since it’s going to get hot and people are going to be wearing more revealing clothing and exposing themselves more)
Methods to locating SC2 interviews!
Go to the TL.net search bar and type in [Interview] and then search. You will find the most recent interviews at the top
Go to the liquipedia page for that specific tournament and find this icon: If you click on that icon, it will take you to the interview for that group's match winners
Whenever Flash talks about balance, he makes it always sound like the other races have it better than Terrans....lol go look at all his interviews. smh.

Anyway, every progamer complains about balance against the other races once in a while so I guess its normal.

From what I've gathered in the first page alone, everyone would be happy if pro-gamers never talked about balance between races. Ever.
For those who think Soulkey is going to win against BoguS now, remember what HoeJJa said in Nal_ra's Oldboy Episode 2, if you practice with Flash you forget how to win. BoguS will 4-0 Soulkey now.

Sounds good.
Flash uses it for interview meta. I remember when Flash complained he didn't know what to do against Protoss and proceeded to destroy tosses left and right while losing to Zerg.

You know you are pretty good/confident when your definition of failure (in non-AK rounds) is just one win every match.

People apparently don't understand the difference between analysis and complaining. Flash is basically saying that as the game gets more figured out Zergs eventually might have the slight upperhand.
This is true because of the larva inject mechanic and Zerg being the reactionary race. They are through the "widow mine OP" phase, where now the ball is in Zerg's court. Zergs no longer die to "new" timings and rushes so it's a valid analysis.
But people are ignorant and take simple analysis as "complaints."

So maybe, in the future, zerg will stronger than terran. For now, however, terran has the advantage. In other words, according to flash, you are playing (and have been since the beginning of HotS) the op race. Enjoy the easy-mode while it lasts!

I was just thinking the same thing when I read that.

Probably Roro... or Life?
Highly doubt it's Life. Possibly Roro. Bogus accredited his teammate "Size" many of his previous interviews. My guess is Hyvaa, Size, and possibly Hyrda, Effort or other Kespa Zergs.
I think I’ll be a shoo in for that most wins award even if I only end up grabbing one win every match from here on out.
I just wanted to point out that you want to use the term "Shoe-in" here, not "Shoo-in." Shoe-in comes from the phrase "One foot in the door." meaning that you are basically there but not officially. You would say "I did really well in my interview and the boss loves me. I pretty much have one foot in the door at that job." meaning that you basically have the job but not officially.
Shoo-in is a horse racing term from the 20's and 30's where the mafia would fix races, and the horses who would win were called shoo-ins.
So, basically what you said in your translation is that Flash thinks he will win the most games because the matches are fixed. What you obviously wanted to say was that he thinks he'll win the most games because he's already established an insurmountable advantage, cuz he's a boss.
Nice to hear that Flash has helped out Soulkey. If they both have such stellar partners to practice with, it should be an epic final! I am a little bit scared for Soulkey, still, but I'm a tad more hopeful now.

Thank you. I did not know this.
Let's not bring up match fixing scandals now, shall we?

He's not complaining about balance, though. He clearly says that terran has the advantage right now, but thinks that zerg maybe has more potential.
I think that flash is saying that he's been chimping down on his efforts because he's been sick and, thus, unable to give it his all in both practice and play. Since he hasn't been in his best shape ("condition") he's been freestyling. With this in mind, his subsequent comment makes alot more sense (talking about wanting to exercise and hoping for the good health of others). Koreans also seem to view sickness as a binary state but one which has at least as much to do with the mind as the body.
Exercise helps strengthen your immune system and its common for some to get sick when the seasons (tempatures) change whether it be autumn to winter or spring to summer. Im assuming he was just suggesting people workout to help stave off sickness.
srsly if flash really helped soulkey practice then soulkey has a good chance of winning since innovation is a carbon copy of flash in terms of gameplay .. but i still think innovation is gonna win this :\ .. bogus is just too good
