I just saw this, and it isn't mentioned anywhere on TeamLiquid yet so decided to post it! Sorry if someone did it before me!
Our organization is always looking to expand its ranks, and today we're proud to announce the addition of yet another huge talent to our StarCraft II line-up.
Western Wolves happily announces the addition of yet another South-Korean player to our StarCraft II line-up. We've been looking for a Korean Zerg player to round out our roster and we're pleased to say our quest was completed very succesfully.
Without further ado we present to you our newest wolf: Kim "Check" Min Gyu.
Previously known as "ALBM", Kim formerly played under the Jin Air Green Wings banner. Kim was enthusiastic to join our ranks when we approached him, eager to take on the challenges of a foreigner team. He will continue his dominance under the WesternWolves tag with approval from Kespa and Jin Air Green Wings.
LINEUP
Our full StarCraft II line-up can be found below:
Kim "Check" Min Gyu Lee "Daisy" Jong Hyuk Ju "Sting" Hoon Stefan "MorroW" Andersson Daniel "StarNaN" Ohlsson Nick "Ziktomini" Copello
STATEMENT
To continue, our StarCraft II manager Reece "Tidus" Fowler prepared a small statement to welcome Kim:
I am excited about the arrival of the newest addition of Western Wolves, Check. Having followed Check for some time, it became clear that adding Check to our line-up would strengthen the team greatly. Check is incredibly talented and will look to make his mark on the foreign scene. I'd like to thank our sponsors Mad Catz and Sapphire for their continued support making this signing possible.
We here at WesternWolves would like to thank all of our partners, sponsors and fans for their awesome support. Welcome and good luck Kim "WW.MCZ Check" Min Gyu!

Damn, Green Wings is losing more and more A-Players. Paradox, now they have a sponsor and lose more and more players.

I think that is a pretty strong signal of what is going to happen when the trade ban ends in October. Jin Air arming to sign a lot of eSF players, imo.

And they probably will ^^ The only teams that are probably "safe" from Kespa absorbing them completely are FXO and Startale. LG-IM with the recent LG debacle - well yeah. MVP with their strong LoL lineup (and Samsung, WJS and STX still missing on LoL teams). Prime was always doing bad financially. Azubu - haha.
I mean, not saying it will happen, just saying if they wanted, they could do it.

Damn Check. My mind can't associate that name to any other player than wc3 pro check. Gl though.

No, that was CheckPrime, he retired from SC2.

I don't understand, why is Team 8 losing players now that they have a sponsor? Will they still be getting JD back?

I am still traumatized by his games in the finals of that one tournament in the UK against Snute, it was so bad...
