TeamLiquid and Incredible Miracle have announced a partnership that will have Liquid's HerO train at the IM house as well as compete in the upcoming Proleague season as part of the IM roster. Said HerO:
"I was always close with IM head coach Kang "Hirai" Dong Hoon, and when EG-TL disbanded I asked him if it would be possible to stay at the IM house. Fortunately, things worked out between TL and IM, and we've formed a partnership that lets me stay at the IM house and compete in Proleague. I'm excited to have another chance to play in Proleague and prove myself, and I plan to have fun. I'll do my best alongside IM, so please cheer for us!"
According to Liquid owner Nazgul, TaeJa will not be participating.
Liquid and IM also announced their cooperation on unspecific future projects.
This is so cool, my two favourite teams together in Proleague (Albeit HerO will be the sole TL player)! Makes me very happy, I'm all giddy waiting for Proleague now, even more so than before.
While I like the fact HerO will be back in Pro League, I was never a really big fan of partnerships because it shows how fickle this business can be. I will catch his games, but I look forward to the day teams can stand on their own.

Given the circumstances of TL players joining other houses, which made news long before this. It seems like a given UNLESS Alex wants all EG players to train from Cali and compete locally for the WCS qualifiers.
Would Taeja still be eligible to play, though? I can see how he would not want to bother with the league play all season long, but he'd still be a blessing for the team in playoffs.
oh thats cool, don't forget the chair ! Also doubt somehow this season will be PvProleague. But who knows, so many players I haven't seen for what feels like ages.

It would be a shame otherwise. Doesn't Jaedong still hold some records in Proleague? I hope he wants still wants to play there, as long as that's the case, they should've discussed this before the re-sign and he should be able to play.

I think it was quite obvious last season that Taeja does not like it.
That has more to do with injuries & personal health more than anything else.
Hm, he has stated that he doesn't like living in team houses, and he showed pretty good results in individual leagues while failing pretty badly in PL at the very same time. I think it is fair to say that he didn't put his all into PL.

Well, aware of that and that's why he moved out and that's why I said personal health. Some players like having personal space.

I believe Alex will give Jaedong the final say on the matter on where he wants to compete and if he wants to be apart of PL. He's good like that.

He didn't play yet was streaming while EG-TL was playing. The least he could do is watch/support his team.
TaeJa likes to march to the beat of his own drum. I can respect that. I see TL as a place for individual sponsorship when it comes to SC2 even though they treat it like a family. Why? Look at their line-up. The only guys really active are Snute, TLO, TaeJa (when not injured) and HerO. That's a pretty small roster. Yes, Sheath says he wants to play again and you can pull out the Xenio wild card but come on. We're really only looking at four guys.
HerO deserves so much respect. Really admirable how he wants to compete in Proleague and prove himself on the real playground. I'm not really a fan, but this deserves so much more recognition.
IM realized the more protoss the better in proleague Yongwha/Firts/Squirtle/Hero every match Yoda and Mvp alternating as mandatory terran Losira as mandatory zerg

I'd sack MVP for Byul (Yes I know he's not a terran).
Granted MVP might kick ass in SPL given that you know the lineups ahead of time for proleague format.

How so? He wasn't playing a lot because of his wrist issues.

How did he fail pretty badly in PL? He was tied for most wins before having to stop practicing because of his wrist. I agree he didn't like the team house environment but he still was a very successful PL player and TBH his wrist injury was one of the biggest reasons for EGTL struggling so much in PL.
I honestly always cheered for HerO (by always, I mean since he joined TL) and he might be the strongest reason for me to watch proleague in the "morning" (around 3AM here).
I wonder if IM will find another couple players for this, they have solid toss, but are a little lacking for the other two races, specifically terran. I love MVP, but he's not on top anymore, and having a second T option would be good. Also losira and byul have never really impressed me for z..

if losira, byul, yonghwa, squirtle, first, yoda can get in their top forms (at least some of them) then they would be a ridiculous team

It's flown under the radar, but apparently IM also acquired a new Terran player (finally!) named Absolute

I kinda like IM mainly because Nestea is such a boss and MVP for how good and consistent he is. GL to HerO, I'm sure he'll be a great addition to the team!
I might have missed it, but does this mean it is only IM+Hero or is it also IM+Hero+SK.MC? Been a while since I heard from MC playing in any team league
