because the organizers care about their players and make sure they get maps you can actually play starcraft 2 on.
GTR won't be there and I likely won't either because the coverage I had planned for these is now impossible. So unless I just feel like stopping by, kenzi and other hardcore bracket F5ers are your best source of info. At best, I might take some photos.
Bottom line is I'm trying to suggest a proper LR thread. See you guys tomorrow maybeishIhavenoidea

I will be at the event all day. Once I get a hold of the brackets I will post them here. Is there anything else in particular you want to get updates on?
Looks like Jake got the bracket he wanted. ZvZ up until the finals at least, but he will probably face Trap there, which will be tough. Let's see how it goes. I can live tweet results for particular players if anyone wants to spare their F5 key. I will arrive at the venue in ~30 mins
4 groups. 6 players each. (all 24 from the qualifier) 2 rounds. (2 games between same two players) Each player choose their "home" map for each opponent. Home/away orders are random. One game on "home" map, the other on "away" map. If two players chose the same map, the map will be used twice. If tiebreakers are played, the maps will be randomly decided.
How standings are decided: 1. More wins 2. More "away" wins (If the number in wins are the same) 3. The winner between the players with the same wins and the same "away" wins advance if there are. 4. tiebreaker
Top 3 advances (12 total) And with top 4 from season 1, 16 total players for ro16. The top 4 have seeds. (Dark, Stats, Solar, Patience.

eh wasn't that important of a bo3. he will almost surely get a rematch considering rogue falls down to play against an amateur and then Hurricane will probably lose to Dream in the bracket final
Looks like the spine rush build is getting out, Hush went for fast zealot and a massive wall-in to counter. Jake is attempting a baneling bust but it fails.
Zest got ahead early on and didn't let go of his lead. Composition-wise that was pretty interesting too--with no high templar and very few archons ByuN's ghosts didn't do a ton.

He's really high on ladder and NightMare is also really good. I know that they went to ProLeague but only as VIP not players.
I'm surprised they're not listed on CJs roster, I mean their team is small as fuck so they have the extra spots and its not like it hurts them to be on it right?

Think that is wrong call from Bomber, he has to hold the follow up 2 base all in here to win and with what he will have out marines and a few firebears at best, he is going to die.

Bomber did no damage with his first push but delayed his production. Scarlett saw this when she scouted the few units at Bombers natural. At this point she should know that she can end it with a big 2-2 push, so she didn´t tech any further. If you call that "all in" or "timing push" or whatever is personal preference i would say

For someone who followed Broodwar already when foreigners tried to qualify it has always been a murder and if a player took maps or series it was always celebrated. I dont think that really applies to Starcraft 2 anymore. While no foreigner did qualify I believe this is just a matter of who takes part.
There are plenty of foreigners that can make that qualifier. I dont know about Scarlett's shape or how she feels about it but I dare say there are several progamers way better than NoRegreT / Scarlett even in not superb / a-game condition so I don't really understand why its so hyped being 2 or 1 round away. I really mean no offence but maybe my take on that is different. I feel going far in Code A can be hyped but being 1/2 rounds away from Code A itself is kind of lacklaster since probably a lot of players could qualify yet they are not trying because what comes next isnt worth it to most of them

I just think it's cool that they're trying to do it in the hardest region when they could stay at home and play WCS for far easier money. Besides, when was the last time a foreigner qualified for a Korean Starleague?
Anybody know whether they will draw the groups now or another day? @Naruto: I consider those qualifiers a bit like the Courage tournaments for BW. If that makes sense. I agree with your point though.
