Prize pool support
OlimoLeague’s Patreon will remain to main source of funding with Twitch Korea padding the prize pool. The prize pool will also no longer be in USD but KRW. The default prize pool for weekly and monthly tournaments will also increase to the following amounts:
Weekly prize pool: ₩ 310,000
1st place: ₩ 150,000
2nd place: ₩ 80,000
3-4th place: ₩ 40,000
Monthly prize pool: 950,000 KRW
1st place: ₩500,000
2nd place: ₩250,000
3-4th place: ₩100,000
Bigger Patreon rewards
Crowd-funding continues to be a major cornerstone in OlimoLeague’s foundation. OlimoLeague wants to continue honoring the fans and supporters who have stuck with us for the past 2 years. With Twitch Korea’s help, we’d like to start creating more unique memorabilia for OlimoLeague Patreon supporters.
In-studio Korean cast
In addition to the English broadcast by BaseTradeTV, OlimoLeague will broadcast live in Korean at VSL Studio in Seoul, South Korea.
VSL Studio will also serve as the location for OlimoLeague Monthly Finals, where the monthly participants will compete offline.
End of the year grand finals
Starting in July, each OlimoLeague monthly final winner will receive an automatic invitation to the OlimoLeague grand finals (bad ass title to be determined). The grand finals will be held as it’s own individual event. Only players that compete in OlimoLeague from July onward will be invited to the grand finals.
The grand finals will feature an offline English and Korean broadcast. Specific details will be announced at a later date.
