"Its been a long time coming but y'all know who we be. Pulling up in you neighborhood ladder and stealing yo points like ya'll chumps. Last season we easily placed 2 out of 2 of our players in the regional qualifiers. Even though we weren't good enough, doesn't mean we don't have what it takes nah mean? So who we be? This is Cray Squad mang. We repping the new squad in the hood, picking up all the up n comers to show we they really about.
Our lineup just got finished, but we got EJK,JuggaJason, Sioras (cause he a thug) , Farmcakes, and SKillous and the fatcatbitch"
Yea I'm trying to approach a different kind of image for a starcraft team. I don't like all the fake goody tooshoo attitude display 90% of players portray. I wanna keep it real as possible, I don't support bm but I don't like fake people.

will your team uniforms come with snapbacks?
Nah, I got jerseys for my players but I'm problaby going to redesign it soon.

Stereotypical? How so? Are their other teams like this? I completly fund the team, I'll do what i want with it lol.
On July 27 2016 13:09 Garuga wrote: Completely unprofessional and stereotypical. Grow up.
Huh, can't tell if you're serious or not. Man, I guess people aren't allowed to have fun in SC2. They have to be professional at all times and their team must exemplify an aura of professionalism 190% of the time.
On a more stereotypically unprofessional note: Fuck yes
No, its not a double negative. Just like my sentence is not a double negative. The "no" is stand alone because there is a comma after it. Also telling someone to "Fuck off" is not a negative, its just vulgar. So there is just one negative in that sentence.
I actually think this is a good branding campaign. As a marketing specialist, I like their approach for being different. Their are number of teams here who introduce their brands on normal way but I almost forgot most of them. But this I'll definitely remember. gl hf guys

fake goody tooshoo attitude, fake people? what kind of dumb comment is that.
nevertheless i think its different, which i suppose is good

I dunno about the average american/canadian, but I assure you that this "goody" attitude is in no way fake in the rest of the world. This fake "gangsta" attitude is pretty much only present where you're from.
Either way, good luck with the team. Gonna be tought signing up many of the other players with a stance like yours though.

Though, it's worth noting, you should probably change it from a 'team' to a 'clan' since I seriously doubt your group of players are going to be representing any type of brand or looking for real sponsorship through this. Though, that's more of a technicality I guess.
Man, NA idk what to think anymore I've been gone too long haha xD

So being an adult is fake now is it?
I guess we are dealing with a video game so acting like children might not be the worst thing but if you ever want to be more than just a noisy clan and attract real sponsors (like an actual team) you'll actually need to have a good operation with mature staff and players... which would make your whole image 'fake'.
Can't say I really know or understand the scene though, I'm too old, so I wish you luck regardless, more teams is never a bad thing.
Haha wow this thread got crazy fast, professional or not I don't give a shit. I judge a starcraft 2 team and starcraft 2 players on their games not their "image" or "friendliness".
Just make sure your players don't behave like total dickbags and speak through your games.
Looking forward to seeing seeing you sharkies tear through some big fishes,
Deducted 4 points for the it being a shark instead of a Cray fish, but added 2 back because of the hilarious unprofessional complaints and the thread in general.
Wow some people need to calm themselves in the comments lol, a team doesn't take itself seriously, so what? I didn't find the intro especially funny either but that's no reason to be so butthurt...
Lets just hope the team last longer than most. Good luck to what i read every time as the crayon squad!
Fairly sure this thread is proof that the manner of the launch of the team has been pretty effective. GL in the future, more personality in the scence will always be fun
Sup homie! Imma say dat y'all got the moves, if you catch what im sain yo. Is the Kray Krew taking on new playas? Me? Naw, just rockin gold yo kno, but i busted dat base of a T to the O to the sssss the other day, and he be chilling in plat, yo. Imma take the Krazy to the Kray if I can ride with the Squad. Respect.
I'm still working on the crappie website, but I plan on putting some real transparency in operating the team. For example, I would be listing all the expenses for the team/player as time goes by. It won't show anything important that's related to my players contracts directed to me but it can give a ballpark of what it would actually cost to operate one. And as for the comment on this team longevity. It won't last long at all if I was like majority of the team owners and make fake promises and give false hopes to the players they pick up. I actually make them sign on the dotted line directed towards me and not to a team that is not even registered as a business. So how long will this team last? As long as the contracts last of course.

Are you / your team registered as a business? Putting money into something like this, you must have a great sense of humor.

The contracts are directed to me and only me. And they are 1 year long. I have a lot of side money that I can use at my free will, usually I just gamble it. But I wanna quit that horrible habit.

Welcome back to the SC2 scene Life.
lol. Funny but sad. I wish I could have my Life back.

LOL you want to quit gambling so you decided to invest in a sc2 squad? That's like a fat man wanting to lose weight so he eats only cake.

Regardless, I say good luck to you and Cray!
I feel better spending my money else where than a casino. Either that or watch my fiance by thousand dollar purses -_-

I think its pretty distasteful that you suggest youre going to be touching little kids, maybe think before you try to sound gangsta.
I'm not a fan of the jokes or demeanor of the owner, but I don't think we need to continue with the lambasting. It's his prerogative and team.
I am happy that he is supporting some SC2 players, and I truly hope he can help the scene. Let's see how his brand, and those operating within it, turns out before we apply harsh criticism.
whats the difference between this and LYGF? i respect that u are funding it completely on ur own but that is usually the case with amateur teams and given 6 months completely disbanding due to the same reason.
joining this team will surely allow jason, sioras, and Jason to become even better players and win them premier tournaments and team leagues. wish u guys the best.

honestly, I think we're reading different threads. There's barely any. only some 4-5 posts who all end up saying "good luck with your team" in the end anyway.

Probably the best post in this thread.
Also the difference between this and lygf? Wasn't that a troll team? Don't get us wrong, we are a team. We just chose a different image amongst the other teams. My players love the urban theme of this team and it makes them comfortable and motivated. I was going to post a boring standard team introduction but they insisted we stay with our theme.
Edit: Also, the next lan I am sending some of them to is wcs montreal byoc. So stay tuned to hate/support your starcraft thugs. Sadly I won't be there cause of work.

What do you do for a living?
Your kid is very cute =).
What the fuck?
Lol yea. that some creepy shit.
You did an amazing job of capturing the BW US East Esque feeling with your clan identity and this thread post, purposely spell incorrectly to try and sound "Gangsta", I see this team going far, and being a top NA E-Sports Organization. Maybe if your wife buys less expensive purses, you will be able to contribute more and more to this E-Sports endeavor. God's speed..... God's speed.
This team should so wear those jackets (denim jackets i believe it is called) with both sleeves ripped of almost completely. Like with those rugged sleeves. If they wear that with a cool design on the book, I would so buy the merchandising.
