GuMiho's marine runbys and air control gave him a 1-0 lead, but INnoVation took game two with a tank push into GuMiho’s third. He dropped the deciding game, however, after GuMiho's own proxy reapers were followed up by a cloaked banshee to which INnoVation had no answer.
Solar was unhindered by a passive aLive on the way to a game one victory and, despite killing 15 workers with hellions, aLive allowed him to repeat the feat in game two. The Splyce Zerg macroed into ultralisks and corruptors as he booked a ticket to the winner's match.
Solar put a quick end to game one as his hydra/bane counterattack overran GuMiho’s mech. GuMiho nearly evened the series with a thor heavy push into Solar's natural, but was foiled by blinding clouds. Solar's brood lords cleaned up, sending him to the Round of 8.
aLive went down 0-1 after overstaying his welcome with an eclectically composed army. INnoVation clawed back on the back of a pseudo basetrade. Game three was all INnoVation. He took a faster third before sieging aLive’s production, eliminating him from the tournament.
GuMiho dropped game one after tossing away his army while half of it was in medivacs. He won game two, only to fall in the third. Ahead on supply after GuMiho donated a triple drop for no return, INnoVation’s ceaselessly attacked until GuMiho had no choice but to concede.
