He has the charisma and an unexplored theme of "Experimental Science", and I've seen people asking for him very often. It is just that Gabriel Tosh might be the most asked commander right now. And I'm glad David Sum has his mind set on keeping coop the way it is. You don't suddenly change the game mode just because of a tiny minority, and much less when the game mode is picking up popularity. It is popular precisely because of the way it is.

The Mutations have recently started all over again. What’s the reason behind reusing old Mutations, and what kind of Mutations do you have planned for the future? We shifted focus away from making new Mutation types, so they are on a cycle now. It’s something that we can look at again in the future, but right now we felt like that with the number of Mutations — maybe a cool thing would be to work with the community to create new combinations for people to share and try out. I think there’s so much opportunity there for the community to create more challenges for each other. I think there’s a lot of potential out there still with custom Mutations. I guess another fun stat is that Karax we see used a lot in Mutation challenges, but the winrate is not good. People always think he’s the best, or maybe they just try a lot and fail. Confirmed. No new mutations are coming. Malwarfare will not appear in a mutation. Part and Parcel will not appear in a mutation. So why even waste your time with new maps if they won't be used? Co-op no longer has any endgame, no point. It's over, finished, we've beaten it all already.

The only thing I don't like are the heroes. You can forget Nova, its army is very strong without her too.

IMO we need few things to improve it: -Have acces through a panel control to old mutation to be able to try it again anytime. (or in case you missed it) -More maps from blizzard or the community. Somehow I would like to be able to see some 1 vs 1 with commander, that would give a warcraft hero style into SC2 and it feels like it would be nice. (indeed might be almost impossible to balance but still.)

But yea, I do hope their pipeline pushes out more maps this year. I understand in 2017 their talent switched from Nova Covert Ops to Co-Op full time, and while I see the newer Co-Op commander more being super impressive visually, I havent been satisfied with the quantity of maps in 2017.

I thought for a while that could be Matt Horner, but after seeing the video of him and Mira, it seems they partially focus on mercs and not so much on air, but one can only hope.
