It says he got knocked out by Disk in the next match. puCK also got knocked out by Silky and printf. NoRegret and puCK are both playing from Korea, and the qualifier started at about 9 AM for them. 150+ ping and overall tiredness explains a lot. If they started playing at 9:00 their time, they shouldn't be that tired assuming they got decent sleep the night before. I thought Korea to NA ping wasn't that bad though.

Apparently NoRegret just overslept and didn't make it.

What a crazy game from printf and Ukko. With slightly better decision making printf could have won that quite easily I think. And Ukko could of course have avoided all this entirely, by Nydusing or proxy hatching which should beat what printf does almost every time.

It's worth a try, but I rather think you still lose since zerg can easily expand (and also protecting the nexus is non trivial since you have to put the initial cannons and shield batteries in a corner somewhere).

If you're proxying near the natural, then you can easily rotate your forces between applying pressure on the natural and also defending the natural. printf's main problem is that he can't move as easily between protecting his base and applying pressure on the natural, whereas with a nydus, Zerg can alternate between the bases easily. Plus, the Protoss can just recall the probes to the other nexus.

Avilo vs Avilo is all I've ever wanted.

It's beautiful. Fake avilo used to play Protoss until he was enlightened by the mech god (and in fact he did beat said mech god with Protoss once). Finally he gets to meet his maker in tournament play.

We shouldn't call him fake Avilo since the match is still going on. The winner of this match will be the real Avilo.

He's just a fake until he defeats avilo. And raven vs raven is truly the pinnacle of Starcraft. It's admirable that fake avilo is somehow able to bank 4k gas and no minerals despite their compositions.

As usual we have 5 series backed up waiting for the outcome of this avilo mirror and we're still on game 1.

This avilo vs avilo match is some real Zen shit.

I hope they didn't veto Eastwatch. Because the one problem with Backwater is that it only has 14 bases.
edit: Just as the hour mark hit there's no more gas on the map.
|
Bioice is the saddest man on Earth right now. he has to wait for 5 series to end before he can play, including this one.

It's pretty smart of fake-vilo to save his last 800 gas for repairs.
edit: As soon as I say that he wastes it by building a battlecruiser and Yamato...

Oh yeah, it's amazing how avilo plays only 50 mass air turtle games and doesn't get upgrades on his vikings and libs.

Ah yes he can Yamato a turret every three minutes.

Avilo losing the game to 1 battlecruiser casting a yamato on his buildings once every 3 minutes is karma at its finest.
