absolutely shocking result
|
When/Will replays of Nationwars V be released? :o
|
INnoVation is always clutch in teamleagues
|
I like how when Innovation loses, he basically just updates, restarts, scans for errors, and crush faces.
|
Fun tournament, I hope there will be a Nation Wars 6!
|
The whole tournament was solid entertainment! Will crowdfund again!
|
Team Korea is the only team where all three players got an allkill. Not a bad showing. Watching the banter between MMA, soO, and Inno was also really fun, and not something you get to see every day from the Koreans.
|
|
The highlight for me is team Netherlands run and their reactions during each tense moments and victories, the teammate cams make this event great.
I really wish for a proleague format next time tough, and less breaks in-between games for the online portion at least :p
|
Totally reduced gap, win in the early game or lose
Thanks for the event ! I hope this will happen again next year.
|
Definitely a entertaining last tournament day. While things didn't go completely smooth offline, it still was a very fun day. A little disappointed that Serral didn't win a game or two or his Finnish mates who both were not too far away from a win.
Overall the tournament had some very fun events, such as Reynor showing his power, Showtime vs Serral, Special vs Korea and TurkeyDano doing some fun things.
Hoping for a next one as well!

Wow, Netherlandsssss great results, too bad Harstem didn't get Inno that last time but Inno just showing up as he always does under pressure.

Watching it live was pretty fucking amazing, really loved it! The KR - NL match was perfect for my liking since uThermal played well and dropped mules, the match wasn’t one sided since Harstem managed to beat INno once, KR won as I wanted, etc.
Sending MMA first was a very good strategy from KR, they were able to see what uThermal was going to do in TvT with their weakest player, so INno (aka a Terran with better mechanics than MMA) would have more intel before going into his match. Since MMA was good enough for uThermal to bring out his A game, he actually did the exact same build against INno, who adapted very well (bunker and sending only one cyclone instead of two inside the medivac).
Great tournament

i also loved to see them interacted. too bad soO didn't come to the crowd.

Finally Soo won a trophy!

I like how the Kong aura is so strong that people regularly forget (or neglect to mention) that he won Kespa Cup.

Great tourney, enjoyed watching it. Enjoyed the chance to be apart of it from home with the purchases of the Nations avatars.

you know they carried each other to a Proleague title, right -_-? 2015 Proleague/Statistics

Dark, Classic, and Dream weren't exactly dead weight for SKT. I wouldn't say anyone carried that team.
|
Already looking forward to the next NationsWars, highlight of the year! Aeromi, you need to push those Matcherino dudes to accept a normal credit card though, pay pal my ass.

missing the point that soO has already won a major team-title in SC2, and played a major part at-least equal to INnoVation in the process

I'm well aware of that, I watched him do it. Did you confuse me with Caelum93 or Solar424?
I just didn't think "carry" was the right word here.

Does this even count as a spoiler?

15 foreignerland teams got crushed by 1 Korean team? Who could have predicted that.
|
|
I am so surprised and schocked that South Korea won.
|
Major was the only foreigner capable of stopping Korea so this was to be expected

Stricktly speaking, Netherlands had a more dominating performance up till the finals because they never lost a match. Korea lost to Mexico and didn't 5-0 finals so definitely not crushing every team

Does it really count though, as he won it against Dark, another Kong ? Especially since we consider soO to be THE undisputed Kong, making Dark the 2nd best Kong... Doesn't that makes Dark the most Kong a Kong can be ?

Dark won SSL he is not a Kong

soO played against Uthermal like a classic soO in final, I totally think he would have losed again to Uthermal, and Harstem vZ is even stronger than his vP.

I get that soO being a kong is a great story line, but the manner in which people ignore all his achievements that are not second places is getting ridiculous.
|
Harstem MVP of the tournament for me, incredible play from day to the play offs, props to him.

But then Dark would be #2 Kong again, elevating him to King Kong again... the paradox continues. No, I definitely haven't lost sleep thinking about this before >.>

He lost to a proxy 3 rax that he had the complete wrong response to. He played like trash against the first Finnish player as well and still ended up allkilling. Also soO is much better against protoss than Inno.
Inno was better overall but just saying he claiming soO is inaccurate, they both lost the same number of maps, Inno was just the one they revived first.

And infinitely worse against Terran. And still not good enough to beat Harstem at IEM.
