(Not exactly proficient at korean, so any additional info/corrections are welcome. Couldn't understand the format too well tbf, so this is just a really rough translation).

That's the team to cheer for.
My thoughts exactly, that is going to be the big fan favourite.
They're also the big favorite for last place.
You forget that TaeJa is the best teamleague player of all time.
At this point, Innovation is the consensus GOAT in terms of teamleagues - though Taeja and MMA would both be top 5 IMO
Maybe Taeja, maybe. But no way is MMA a top 5 teamleague player unless you ignore the proleague gods
MMA's done quite a lot in team leagues - helped Slayers win two GSTL titles back in 2011, and has been showing strong team league results pretty consistently even after he joined Acer. If Taeja is top 5, then MMA is definitely top 5 as well

Not anything close to what Stats, sOs, Maru, Rain, herO or any of the other top proleague players did. MMA's runs in GSTL aren't even comparable. I don't think Taeja is top 5 either but he at least had that ridiculous carry in IPL.

i cant imagine him playing without having a real shot (like at least a 1/10). he has to be in some kind of preparation routine to be confident enough to make that call.

There’s truth to this. Brings back painful memories of EGTL, but you gotta give them credit for what they tried to do. I think it was brave of the two biggest foreigner teams to take the fight to Koreans soil.
Really looking forward to this, it definitely has potential. Plus with the teams so stacked I can't help but feel there will be at least a decent viewership. Who knows if this thing becomes successful it might become the new and improved proleague (although that might be me just hoping).

Just having facecams/being offline would already make me super happy in future editions tbh.
Some big names are missing. Where are herO and sOs ?
Anyway it's look like a really cool tournament. Thx to Crank to be involved so much in sc2!
Maru is also missing.
It's a no-brainer that Maru won't reveal his games AT ALL since he's THE one contender to win it all this year. Also: So awesome from Crank!!! GLHF gg's!!
The format seems interesting. As far as I understand, it's 1v1 Proleague-style for the first 3 maps, then a 2v2. The team winning the 2v2 then gets a revive (I think?) for the second 1v1 stage, should it come to that. Or something close to that. My Korean was never especially great, now it's rusty on top of that, soooo... yeah.

My Korean isn't great either, but that looks accurate to me. So if one team wins every 1v1 and the 2v2 in the first stage, they win immediately. The second stage is basically an all-kill with just the winners (+ whoever is revived) of the first stage matches if necessary. Would be pretty hype to see one team lose all but one match in the first part, and have the one survivor all-kill the other team.

Uhhh, Rogue, Trap and Cure are all JinAir players and they are playing in this tournament, so what are you talking about?

How dare you to put dirt on our holy messiah. Most overrated player of all time is Soulkey btw.
I just hope this doesn't end up like every other team league we all pledge to support, and then no one does, then it disappears, and people start bitching, and then we rinse and repeat
Kim-do/Seong-ho vs. Group Assignment and 94fam vs. TitanEX should happen today in 2 hours if nothing has changed schedule-wise. There's also a LP page now.
Wow I didn't think Classic was gonna be able to bust TY's super strong defensive position so easily, and even with a smaller army. I guess adepts are still pretty good if you hit seconds before stim, combat shields and +1.
First GuMiho is denied a reverse all-kill because he wasn't allowed to play in the 2v2, then TY can't all-kill Selendis and Bugs because the last map was Para Site. RIP muh all-kills.
I've added player statistics (1v1s only) to the Liquipedia page so people can keep track of who carries hard and who sucks. Spoiler alert: Zest is not best in 1v1. Top tier 2v2 player though.
Sad one of 94fam/Selendis had to go out, I rate both a fair bit above ByuN and the kids & TitanEx1.
Wednesday, Oct 17 10:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Winner Finals: INnoVation One Man Team vs Kim-do/Seong-ho Loser Round 3: Selendis and Bugs vs ByuN and the kids
Friday, Oct 19 8:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Grand Finals & Loser Finals
You will never forget the day where Captain Zest Sparrow ALMOST won a team league with a perfect 0-4 record.
Key players of every team:
Selendis and Bugs: Dark INnoVation One Man Team: soO Kim-do/Seong-ho: Classic (do you count as a key player when you're the only player?) ByuN and the kids: GuMiho 94fam: TY TitanEx1: Bunny (D u r n b o i s) Group Assignment: N/A
As you can see from my , all the teams had extremely well-chosen names.
