(stats from Liquipedia)
The global winrates tend to indicate that zerg has an advantage in both match-ups on this mappool, whereas terrans have a slight advantage against protosses. The very high number of mirrors for zerg players is probably due to the high number of zergs playing in WCS.
The most interesting statistics although are the detailed ones.
We see for example that protosses are globally at a disadvantage winrate wise versus terran, but they are advantaged on more maps than they are at a disadvantage (4 vs 3). However, on the maps they have an advantage on, it's a small one (1.45 points), whereas they are really at a disadvantage on the other maps (6.77 points). This means that they are probably fine in bo5 because they can veto Cerulean Fall, but in bo3 there are good terran favored maps open so upsets in this matchup could happen.
Against zerg, they are globally screwed because they are at a disadvantage on most maps (5 of 7 maps), by a relatively large margin (4.8 points in average), and they are at a very small advantage on the maps they have an advantage on (0.75 points on average). Plus, there isn't a clear auto veto map as in PvT (Cerulean Fall with abysmal winrate), so bo3 in PvZ will probably be difficult.
As for terran, they will be confident in TvP, but they will struggle in TvZ with one map below 40% winrate and three maps below 45% winrate, with only 2.13 points advantage in average on Dreamcatcher, Acid Plant and Fracture. Even with one vetoe for bo5 the odds are not in favor of the terrans in this matchup on this mappool.
Zergs as we have seen have a good time in both matchups, they are more heavily favored versus terran but with vetoes it evens out so ZvT will be more difficult for them than ZvP in bo5. However in the finals they should have a clear advantage in both matchups.
Globally the map pool is balanced but Para Site and Cerulean Fall will probably be vetoed a lot.

My power ranking:
1. Maru
Maru has accomplished something never seen before in starcraft 2 existence, winning three GSL back to back to back, aka winning every GSL Code S of 2018, alongside a 200k $ paycheck from winning WESG 2017 in March 2018 and two Top 4 finish in IEM Katowice and GSL vs The World. Nobody ever dominated the korean scene that hard, and now all eyes are on him to finish this year in the most convincing fashion, by winning BlizzCon 2018.
Were he to win this event, he would have won as much (+-7k $) cash from tournament gains in a single year as Jaedong in its entire BroodWar and SC2 career, and 20k $ more than Flash. Yeah, that much.
The pressure is already high for anybody competing at Blizzcon, but when you enter the biggest tournament of the year as the utter favorite, pressure reaches a New high.
2. Serral
If not for Maru having the best year of anybody in starcraft 2, Serral would have been the first foreigner to enter BlizzCon as the favorite to win it all. History has been made, so now Serral will be competing at Anaheim in another position: the best foreigner hope we have ever had in the scene. Were he to win BlizzCon, people would forget Stephano even existed... were he to lose before the finals, or even worse, in groupstages, foreign fans would cry in pain harder than they have ever cried, knowing that this year was their best shot at having a foreign player on top of the world before a long time. He was shaky at WCS Montreal, barely beating inferior zerg players Scarlett, Lambo and Reynor, but he remained invincible. He got stomped recently by Neeb in an online bo5 right before BlizzCon, only to give hope to sOs and Zest before trashing them in groupstages and crushing their hopes in the process. Beware, the king from the north is here to leave his mark.
3. Dark
Dark is in the shadows of Serral, but he has been here at every BlizzCon and had the two distinct yet equally disappointing experiences these past two years. Entering the 2016 edition as the favorite to win it all, he looked ruthless against foreigners, destroying foreigner hope and #1 Seed from WCS Neeb 3-0, before inflicting the same treatment to Elazer. However, a dark horse emerged and beat him before he could taste glory. He died in the hands of ByuN in the finals, in the general surprise. Dark didn't recover. His 2017 year in Korea was good albeit not great, but his status of foreigner killer got shut down at BlizzCon, where he lost to Elazer in the groupstages, Which is even more disappointing than losing in the finals... In 2018 he had his worst year in Korea in all of LotV, but it's probably better that way. Instead of entering as the favorite, he is this time in the position of the dark horse. And that suits him even better, he is silently standing third in the aligulac ratings this month, slowly but surely preparing for the BlizzCon run of his Life. Dark is thirsty for blood and glory, and he'll crush a lot of dreams at Anaheim.
4. TY
TY almost won GSL Code S season 3. But he probably knew this season wasn't about him, but about Maru, and destiny went in the right direction for a spectacular legacy, at the expense of TY. He appeared shaky in TvP shortly after, losing 1-3 to Creator, albeit after one of the best TvP games we have seen in LotV, but it didn't matter that much for him, and his code S run will probably give him the confidence needed to at least make a top 4 again, maybe without throwing the series this time and qualifying for the finals? He is the hope of terrans should Maru die before the end, his aligulac rating and WCS points are solid so I put him at #4.
5. Rogue
Rogue was disappointing in GSL Super Tournament but Maru is so great at TvZ he is in a tier of his own, so losing to him is not a very good indicator of form. Rogue is probably not as hungry for victory as other competitors, but he probably doesn't want to be forgotten either, so he'll try his hardest here. He has been doing very well in recent online tournaments, so he is probably practicing to have an impact. In this zerg favored meta, such a competitor is not to be underestimated, this is why I put him at such a high place in spite of his low number of WCS points and seemingly shaky recent form.
6. Classic
Classic is hit and miss. Sometimes he looks like the best player in the world, sometimes he crashes and burns... as against Rogue at IEM, right after eliminating the fan favorite Serral in convincing fashion. He recently stepped up and won the 2nd Super Tournament against sOs, after a very difficult run. He had a free win against returning player FanTaSy, but barely beat Creator, Dark and sOs before being able to lift the trophy. Clutchness or shakiness? We'll probably know by the end of the tournament. His aligulac ranking, recent form and WCS points are all very Solid, but I'd still favor the top zergs and terrans over him.
7. Stats
Stats has been the most consistent Protoss of LotV. Period. But do consistent players win big tournaments with big paychecks such as BlizzCon?
Except for his code S victory and IEM finals in 2017, his placements (Stats) are mostly a lot of solid runs without that much cash on the table. He hasn't been the kind to suddenly have a leap in form and win the big tournament à la Rogue or sOs, so I don't favor him here, although he'll probably give every player he encounters a run for their money. After his disastrous 2017 BlizzCon, Stats will probably get his shit together and at least qualify for the ro8, but many other challenges await him in the bracket stage.
8. sOs
sOs, or should I say $O$? In 2013 and 2015, sOs barely qualified for BlizzCon, but managed to win the event. In 2018, sOs barely qualifies for BlizzCon with a good performance in the Super Tournament, crushing the hopes of GuMiho who gave a few other people the chance to qualify through their own hands for this year Blizzcon. Will sOs win again, instead of Serral or Maru as people hope? I doubt it. Although his playstyle and ability to "steal" people money by beating them make people either laugh or cry (IEM Season VIII - World Championship the infamous winner takes it all IEM, further cementing the $O$ storyline), there are half a dozen players that can stop him relatively easily this year, and I don't believe in miracles, incredibles or not.
9. ShoWTimE
I believe in ShoWTimE and his PvP, but he'll have to hope that Dark beats Stats in order to get out of his group alive, because I don't see him beat Dark. If he manages to survive this difficult group, he will be the second foreigner hope after Serral, 2018 being a comeback year for him compared to his disappointing 2017. He was able to upset his group in 2016 BlizzCon so we shouldn't count him out yet, but a top 4 finish seems far fetched for him unfortunately.
10. Zest
Zest is best. Or was he? After a dominating first half of 2016, Zest became the shadow of his former self in the second half of the year, and his 2017 performances are almost shameful. However, he has had a good 2018, stopped each and every time by the invincible Maru in two code S seasons. He became motivated again in 2018, his PvP and PvT are both very good, but... it's a zerg dominated meta and he faces the best zerg in the world in the groupstages, as well as a difficult protoss opponent, and a nothing to lose terran who probably won't hesitate to proxy, be it for economic or agressive cheeses. Yeah, Zest group is probably the worst he could have hoped for, so an out of Top 8 ranking seems fitting for him. I wish he could dominate once more though.
11. Neeb
Neeb has had a catastrophic 2018 and a superb 2018 at the same time. How is that possible? Because WCS Circuit and GSL points are separated, Neeb had bad performances in WCS, finishing fourth in points. 4th seems decent, but when you were the foreigner hope of 2017 with 3 WCS titles, that's shameful. But Neeb was able to channel his 2016 energy and make miracles happen in Korea again, with a top 4 finish in the last GSL Code S, a feat not accomplished by a foreigner since 2011 and Jinro top 4. (2011 Sony Ericsson Global StarCraft II League January) Neeb has had flashes of brilliance in every matchup this year, but shaky performances as well, so I doubt he'll have an impact this year at BlizzCon if he couldn't do it in 2016 and 2017 where he was a more solid player. He is the dark horse of foreigners today.
12. SpeCial
Big paycheck. Something SpeCial wants almost as much as playing in feu, proleague. He has had a very good 2017 BlizzCon run, his 2018 WCS performances are good albeit his loss against MaNa is a sad reminder that he is stuck in semi finals. He is one of the most capable foreigners but his group is very difficult so unless he creates magic again (he beat both Stats and TY in 2017 to qualify) against Rogue he'll finish 3rd of his group ahead of Nerchio. However if he gets out of his group alive he could probably finish top 4 again, but it's a long shot.
13. HeRoMaRinE
HeRoMaRinE outperformed his rival for the title of best european terran uThermal, even beating him in the head to head. He is very solid and can prepare some good builds but his group will be difficult, as even the worse player on paper, Zest, is a beast in PvT. An upset is possible albeit unlikely, so he'll probably finish fourth of his group, after a valiant fight.
14. Has
Has made the run of his life at WCS Valencia, upsetting Elazer and SpeCial in group stage 3, then Kelazhur, Nerchio and ShoWTimE in tense bo5 series going to the fifth game everytime, to finally lose against the mighty Serral in an expected 4-1 series. He is seen as the weakest by many players, but his ability to go against the odds in so many series is what makes him more dangerous than Lambo or Nerchio in my opinion. He is like the poor man's sOs in a group full of wolves, with ShoWTimE waiting for revenge and Stats and Dark ready to toy with their food, so he probably won't upset anyone there.
15. Lambo
Lambo barely qualified and probably has more tricks up his sleeve than Nerchio, but he'll be up against the best terrans in the world so no matter the state of the meta he won't beat them, and Neeb is in good form in PvZ so he will probably end up #4 with a score of 0-4 or 1-4.
16. Nerchio
Nerchio will play very solid macro games without surprise builds and end up 0-4, but hey at least it will be solid macro games. He is one of the best european zergs but he isn't a top dog nor a player prone to pull off insane builds that might cause an upset, so he will probably die slowly and take his 14k$ as consolation prize.

Maru 2-0 Lambo
TY 2-1 Neeb
