FINALLY this is getting talked about somewhere. Whenever I see Impact in Zest's group or on Zest's side of a bracket I can feel my stomach drop because I know chances are that Zest will somehow find a way to lose yet another series against him. It's driving me insane xD
Thanks for writing this!! <333

I love this! Would love more write-ups on amazing modern day rivalries we have.

Very well told, almost like it's written from our side. The player knows it, story was one best kept within, until today. Impact's transition to a mature offline form will materialize in coming year.

I dont really like the idea of forming any modern storylines of Zest. He just hasnt been in form for a very long time. Since KT disbanded he hasnt been as motivated or practiced. His legacy ended a couple years ago and will begin again if he regains his old form.

That's a pretty rude thing to say considering Zest has the 2nd best Code S results this year after Maru.

I miss sc2 rivalries being at the forefront of the scene.

Now, you can write about how Stephano and Serral, as they always bump into each other in almost every event, could have been a great rivalry (the old vs. the new foreigner alpha dog) if only Stephano could play ZvZ...

Unfortunately I think that's saying more about the Korean scene as a whole than about Zest's form.

Huh that's kinda funny--I hadn't realized that they played quite that many times. I'm not sure I buy that this rivalry captures the zeitgeist of 2018 Korean SCII though.

This so-called rivalry can be summarized by 2 simple facts: Zest sucks at PVZ and Impact is an onlline god.

The struggle of those who grind and sacrifice to remain merely mediocre is the true essence of Korean progaming, cynics may say.

Zest is the exception, he's the one who manage to overcome the struggle while staying mediocre.

Someone please organize a Bo9 showmatch between Maru and Serral - we really need it as a scene and as a fan base.
This could be the undercard match to the event - but this rivalry by itself isn't a headliner

While i think Zest is a tier above Impact, whenever i see they will play i know Zest is doomed. He is just the straight counter to Zest.

Got to watch a Zest-Impact series today in olimoleague. Zest manhandled impact damn
