The $ definitely helps to keep the top players going. And bringing the old legends back? Can't wait to see them play, wonder if they will bring some of the oldest builds back, or follow today's meta.
They will likely play like the average high master/low GM player, after practicing for the event. It will be more of a tribute to their legacies than the games themselves.
Like at least in PvZ and TvZ, they could get the KR pros to give them some valuable informations about the current metagame. Their mechanics will probably not be enough to beat Stephano though, but maybe the games will be slightly competitive?
Just noticed, everything is set up for a Serral vs. Maru Grand Final. So the question is...which of them will fuck it up this time and go out early? :3
So now we know that Arabia is not asian enough for Maru to do his thing, while ZvZ remains Serrals weakpoint. Also for once Maru and Serral fucked up their communication and weren't clear who was supposed to drop out and who should win the tourney :<

Serral and Maru had a little spat.over who could throw harder. Serral said "I am known to be bad at mirror, I'll lose to your teammate, and then stomp him in the WTL again, deal?! That way this tourney goes to Onsyde. You guys deserve it for the amount of slaughter I am going to unleash in the WTL" and Maru was all "no man, that's too predictable! You just win the ZvZ, I'll make sure this tournament goes to a European and lose a TvT to, of all people, Clem. The crowd will go wild, because Clem not sucking at TvT would be an amazing turn around!"
They both forgot that Cure is also still in the tournament.
