How did you break yours, I've been on the same pair for over 2 years. They're fantastically cheap and have good microphone quality, the fact that the microphone detaches means its LESS likely to break without wires connecting to two dangling parts.

Best bang for your buck headset IMO, even if they are a bit expensive they are so nice and feel a lot sturdier than other brands.

the headphones i use now is a sony mdr-7506 which is closed ear and blocks sound out pretty well, sound quality is also much better then the siberias but also cost a bit more the sonys can also fold up so its TONS more portable then the siberias.. those are pretty much the 3 i've used and have experience with

for 100 bucks you get audiophile headphones (with great soundstage) and a cheap mic with really good pickup/reception.

Not for the person trying to keep it cheap. These headphones block out sound incredibly well. Good enough to play at highly crowded LAN events and not even realize your away from home which is really nice for keeping your focus. The only issue is that they lack a mic, for this I just use the built in mic with my webcam, its actually a lot nicer than having a clunky plastic thing in front of your face and doesnt look as nerdy . And the quality you get is worth the money, where as I get the feeling that the gaming headsets are riding a bit more on looks and brand association to get gamers to spend $$'s

got them for my birthday (just over a year ago), extremely comfortable, no issues with mic/sound quality. Nice and sturdy too since they are slightly large. Don't know if they are out of your price range but definitely worth the look.
