In what appears to be an amicable split it seems like Skew has decided to leave sixjax gaming.
His tweet: "Back to being a solo Terran. Thank you @SixjaxGaming, Andrew, @Artosis, @gosutrolling for everything. 1LT sixjax.com fighting."
So another free agent on the market. I'm certain with Skew's broodwar background and ambition to improve in SC2 someone will pick him up, the question is who?
For those of you who may not know who skew is: "Skew was a Terran BW player who was was the leader of Media along with Artosis as a captain and other notable players. He was known for having the best foreigner TvZ and being a practice partner to many pros including training Greg "Idra" Fields. He transitioned over to SC2 briefly in the Wings of Liberty Beta, however, took a break until his return with his recruitment to Sixjax Gaming. He is also a Terran player in WoL." - Liquidpedia

I think he's got to do something in SC2 first. So far his results have been beyond lackluster and he doesn't seem to play non MLG tournaments, where he under performs in.
From what I heard this was kind of a long time coming. Skew was looking for more practice partners within the team and apparently sixjax wasn't doing it for him. He seems very serious about improving so this might be a good move for him, sixjax is a great team but they might not play together a whole lot (and they are like 80% terran which isnt the best for him).
Even with his lack of huge results in SC2 I don't think he'll have much problem joining another team GL Alex~
Unfortunately I never got to see him play much, he didn't seem to make much of an appearance anywhere. But with a BW background like that i'm sure he's pretty good, he should really prove it though

I couldn't agree more. This plays into the entire issue foreigners are having. Practice regiment, team houses, and overall time to dedicate to improvement.
I agree 100% Nrg.NeverExpo, Skew seems serious about improving and a team would certainly beef up their roster with him as an addition. Given the right environment I believe Skew will shine in sc2, it's just a matter of finding the right team with the right formula for success. A team where Skew can bring his SC experience to the table and improve himself while helping others up their game too.

Really? I was hoping that Skew would do great but he kind of looked a bit more like one of the players with a BW history coasting on mechanics rather than buckling down and practicing hard. Hopefully he finds a new home and can do well :o.

He's the kind of guy that doesn't really mess around, he uses his time really efficiently and is smart about his practice. When he plays, he gets better, that sorta thing.
EDIT:
very bad players with even worse manners, this is really good for sixjax
I think you're mistaken, you may think hes a bad player, but when has he ever shown signs of manner issues? xD
in terms of practice partners, he had major and vibe who are all very good NA players. and there's Artosis for protoss, who, as we all know is a good caster though.

Uh... I've seen at least 2 broadcasted games with Skew being ridiculously bm. One of which being in game 2 (I think) of IPL vs Mana. I've always identified Skew by his sportsmanship.
Although he hasn't been performing, I wouldn't be surprised if EG dropped Lzgamer and picked up Skew.
The reasoning behind this would be that although both have shown subpar results, Lzgamer doesn't want to move to the EG house due to his girlfriend, while Skew would probably want to (and also lives in Arizona so moving wouldn't be a big deal at all.)
This would make sense because Skew and IdrA have a past history with each other and the fact that he wants more practice partners to improve.
(This is just my thoughts, I am not starting a rumor.)
