Liquibet fighting! Go NightEnD, SeleCT and Ret!

I wish NASL would get more attention!

Decent first match, if not terribly exciting.
Low viewship tonight, right around 500 at the end of the first match.
|
Totally understandable with MLG going on though.

probably cause of MLG.

pretty fucking awkward on the stream with them unable to transition

Yeah, MLG kinda steals the show over the weekend. Wow, Moonglade over Select, go Moonglade! Even if you do make me miss my Liquibet point, always a fan of the underdogs. I'll have to catch that VoD.

FUCK YES MOONGLADE!! You didn't let my Liquibet down! :D

But seriously, why are they trying to compete with MLG and other events, it feels so stupid. And well, additionally... it's just too much NASL, 5 Days a week for 2 month is meeeeh

they arent trying to compete in this case havox. They have a set schedule and will continue to broadcast as it goes. They will get a lot of viewers in the last week and during their live events. This is just a way in which they set themselves apart from the others.

Wow inc took a game off of ret. might ahve to go back and watch those later.
|
One page when Moonglade kills Select and Incontrol wins a game. I think the NASL dudes must be very sad

MLG definitely took some viewers away, but I was surprised at just how low the numbers were.
What about the subscribers. I wonder how many they have? I'd expect at least them to tune it.
As far as there being too much of it, the format is different, and there some advantages to a 'marathon' series over a 'sprint' tournament. Players have more time to prepare for individual matches, which should lead to higher quality, more competitive play. I'm sure at an event like MLG, near the end of the day the players are whipped and not up to their best stuff. A mistake by a good player can lead to elimination, whereas in a longer tourney they should be able to ride out the lows.

Pretty standard ret loss. Took a 4th base too fast, inc stayed on 2 base blink stalker and eventually ran ret over.
