As many Starcraft fans and viewers may know, the end of 2011 brought about the dawn of a new online tournament in the Korean scene, the KSL is a series of daily matches between top Korean players from the teams Prime, oGs, NSHoSeo, MvP, ZeNEX, StarTale, Incredible Miracle, and FXOpen.
Starting at 15:00Cet or 23:00KST
16.01 IM vs NSHoseo 17.01 Startale vs oGs 18.01 FXO vs Prime 19.01 MVP vs zenex
28.01 winner of IM vs nshoseo vs winner of startale vs ogs 29.01 winner of fxo vs prime vs winner of mvp vs zenex
I wonder if they will bring back the old "individual daily" format. IE, picking 8 players to play every day and have them duke it out for $100. Even though I enjoyed the "opening ceremonies", and the "grand opening tournament", this feels kind of redundant because we already had a KSL team league tournament with the exact same format and teams less than two weeks ago. Oh well, I guess the Korean New Years is coming up soon, and maybe things will go back to normal once that is finished. Either way, these tournaments are great and are really good for the exposure and the "pumping in money" to the korean code b'ers.
I wish the KSL would get more attention. It's good to have it there for when a night of GSL fails to entertain.
I was so hyped for the last one, only to see DRG crush Startale in the Grand Finals. I'm hoping that this time they'll have a better overall plan, since in the last round they seemed to rely too much on the "have Squirtle and Bomber" save us strategy.
I missed the games. Can someone tell me if any of the QxG players played for ST today (is that even possible, I mean they have a partnership, but can they play for ST?)?
KSL needs to set up a proper league, 8 teams round robin. Like BW proleague. I would pay to watch that. I really dislike bracket style tournaments for teams.

I could be mistaken but... didn't the partnership end?

Unfortunately TSL is not one of the 8 teams involved with the KSL. I'm not sure on the specifics but I believe one of the facets stems from lack of roster depth.

As far as I'm aware the Quantic players cannot play for StarTale, and the Complexity/EG players cannot play for MvP/SlayerS either.

Quanitc and IM's partership ended, but Quantic announced another partnership with Startale that's fresh. As for the original question, I'm not sure.
