This week I had a chance to talk to the Player Manager of Team Liquid, Robin "Bumblebee" Nymann. I talked to him about being Team Liquid's player manager, not being in the spotlight and we talk about possibly Team Liquid venturing into other games.
Interview excerpt
You have been a player manager for StarCraft 2 since 2010. What are some of the most important things you have learned as a manager?
To show the players that you care. If you show the players that you care and everything you do is in their best interest, you will have come a long way in terms of getting their respect. Once you have a mutual understanding and gotten their respect, you can start working together and have a great relationship; personally and professionally.
Team Liquid has a huge following and community. What are some of your favourite aspects of the community?
I am truly amazed by all the volunteers on Team Liquid and how much blood, sweat and tears, they've put into the website. I respect those kind of people more than anything else in the world.Even though it rarely happens, another part I love is to go on TeamLiquid.net and be able to read some comments about the players I'm 'emotionally invested in' and see that other people recognizes them for what and who they are as well. It means a great deal to me, actually.
Head over to the MCSL website for the complete interview
Special thanks to Robin for doing this interview and I hope you guys enjoy it.
Be sure to keep your eye on http://mcsl.evilgeniuses.net/ for we will be releasing new content every week such as interviews, player profiles and much more.

It's an interesting interview, but I think you messed up the formatting or questions or something, because several of his answers have at the end of them something that looks like a question you were planning to ask :/
Example answer:
I do run around being a bit unrecognized at events, but there's also a number of people who actually know who I am and like me for what I do. Most of them just don't know how I look. Those who do sometimes come for a chat and some don't. I've written a few autographs here and there, but it's not really anything to speak of. In terms of fame, I'm not here for the fame but it's not something I'd say no to or not nurture if it happened. In fact after my casting with Khaldor at Copenhagen Games 2011, it spiked a bit and people started recognizing me more. And then again after my debut in Pro Random Monobattles by TotalBiscuit with me playing alongside TLO, NonY and Sheth (..and winning!) gained me a bunch as well.Your team is run much more different than other teams.
It's actually not a very big deal. They all speak decent English and you can have a proper conversation with them and have quite some fun. Their English has improved a lot as well during their stay in Team Liquid and that's great. But do not doubt, you learn to communicate so you can have all sorts of conversation. There are days where I literally talk to either one of them all day and we're just having a chit-chat about life as you would with any other friend. But for complicated matters - like contracts - we have a translator that helps us, but day to day stuff and StarCraft we speak Korean. TLO even laughed at me during Assembly when I spoke to a taxi-driver. His reasoning for it was "Robin, you've started to speak Konglish to everybody whom you don't know. It's pretty hilarious."You’re more behind the scenes at Team Liquid than other managers.
(I guess the second one could be legit, but doesn't look like it to me.

Thanks for the catch.. We've been having some formatting issues on our site lately causing these errors.

99% of people reading this headline will think TL has acquired the player.
