Since OGN aren't like GOM and most likely won't provide details on how to get to the finals, I suppose I'll do it myself.
Saturday 27th October 2012 - 18:00 KST at Hanyang University Olympic Gymnasium Capacity: 8000 Purpose: Indoor Arena First Opened: 1986
How to get there - Take Line 2 (Green) of the Seoul Subway System and get off at Hanyang University Station - Leave out of exit #2, and keep going straight for about 600 metres until you see the gymnasium. - If going by taxi, show the driver "한양대학교 올림픽체육관" - or phonetically - 'Hanyang Daehakgyo Olympic Cheyookgwan'
Notes - Unlike the last BW final, I highly doubt there will be a rush to get tickets at 8am in the morning. Therefore there should be no rush for you to get to the venue and acquiring tickets super early.

OGN is ambitious they can fill a 8,000 stadium. Hopefully they can at least get half.

Seems like a cool venue, but an 8,000 seat stadium might be too big to get filled up.

Hope it's not gonna be too bad, i think this could have an influence on the future of SC2 in the OSL. If it's gonna be very bad, perhaps OGN will scrap SC2 and go LoL only? T_T Pessimistic thinking from me.

Really hope that the crowd isn't as disappointing as I'm picturing it.
8,000 people is a lot to have for one under-publicized OSL finals.

DRG v. Rain should be a great series. Hopefully people show up.

Thanks for the information, GTR.

GTR: should work for gom.

Considering how new they are to SC2 and they got direct competition that has been here for way longer (talking about sc2 so don't get your panties in a bunch people) i say they at least try a couple times more. Maybe they should work together with GOM and do some cross tournament promotion.

Also is this where JangBi v. Fantasy was?

With time, SC2 will become popular... With time SC2 will become better... What else does SC2 need time for?
The "build it and they will come" running of things can look a bit strained. Booking out such a huge venue is pretty wishful thinking.

A lot of ppl will come for Rain, but how many?

OGN better have cardboard cutouts of people ready on hand.
|
if it was a GSL final it would fill out jk OSL no one really cares
|
How much people did we use to draw to the original OSL/MSL finals? i miss the old times so much.

No way.
Even if it is a GSL finals, it definitely won't filled out 8,000 seatings.
I think OGN is getting optimistic but hey if they can afforded to try it out then why not? At least the next OSL they can judge an estimate on the number of people coming to the next final and arranged a better venue.
If this OSL was a BW finals, then people will care.
But since this is a SC2 finals, people won't be as hyped as before.

Wait- didn't they have like a 2000 seating arena for the recent proleague finals? do they really think they can fill more seats than BW?
