This barcraft will be hosted @ Pratt Street Ale House on MLG Championship Sunday!
The bar is located right on Pratt Street near downtown Baltimore's inner harbor. There are many ways to get here including the Light rail and Charm City Circulator. There is also parking right around the corner.
We will be providing a stream for MLG Orlando (Red/Blue Streams) as well as cover of IEM New York League of Legends! We will also have the Baltimore Ravens Football game on one of the spare TV's!

I'm there.
Might bring some friends too.

Friends are always good! The bigger this event is, the better the future events can be.
|
Finally an event I can walk to.
|
Yep, I think we did well on the location. Its in a good place in the city, near the light rail, bus station and has parking close.

How many people does this place hold? I'm hoping it's a massive success. I've shared the event link a few times on facebook and actually got a few more people coming. I'm totally pumped for this :D

as far as I know, there are two floors. The first one will be playing football since there is a home Ravens football game. and the second floor is for Barcraft. The word on the street is if there is overflow on the second floor then the first floor will be playing Starcraft too!

LOL, unless we outnumber the football fans 10x to 1 that's not going to happen.
You just DON'T turn off a Raven's game in a Baltimore City bar.

Well the game isn't til 4pm and MLG Sunday starts much earlier, maybe if there is insane overflow they will spare us a TV on the first floor until the ravens game starts.

As the manager told us, the bar starts to empty out around 4pm. Which is basically when MLG is really heating up, so not only should the ravens fans already be headed to the game - Starcraft fans will be just getting started.
There is a bar section AND a restaurant section on the bottom floor, so if we have a huge turn out, there will be room.
Here are some photos of the venue so you can get an idea of the space:

Ale House TVs are set up in such a way that once our inputs are hooked up to the main rack, all it takes is the click of a mouse and we can bring the streams to which ever TV we need.
I'll be there from 8am until everybody leaves. If we really wanna send a message, show up early, be there for the 10am matches(Maybe I'll bring donuts or something for the early birds =P). If we fill the bar before football fans even show up, what will that say to them? Lets give people a reason to take eSports seriously.
Here is the schedule for MLG Championship Sunday:
8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Warm-Up 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Championship Losers Round 3 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Championship Losers Round 4 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Championship Winners Semifinals A / Losers Round 5 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Championship Winners Semifinals B / Losers Round 6 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Championship Losers Round 7 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Championship Losers Round 8 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Championship Losers Round 9 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM Championship Winners Finals 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM Championship Losers Finals 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM Championship Finals

We might not be as far off from that number as you may think

I can't wait for this coming up on Sunday...I should really rsvp on Facebook . I wanted to inform everyone that the Ravens game actually starts at 4:05 PM this week, so the football fans most likely won't' start clearing out until 7 PM. I definitely plan on being an early bird.

Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. Somebody corrected me in another thread of mine, but i forgot to edit the rest.
I talked to the manager of Ale House and they told us that the bar will start emptying around 4pm, I take this to mean that many people will actually be heading out to the game itself leaving us with more space. I can not say for sure though, as I have never been to there on a game day!
Regardless, this event is going to be awesome! Can't wait until Sunday!
