I don't know how many people here use a Mac, but I've been working on this tool for a couple of weeks and thought I'd share it here.
The problem I've been having is I have a lot of Starcraft replays, and they are just opaque files. They look like this when you preview them:
I have to double click them and open them up to see who is playing who and who won, etc. So I developed this Quick Look plugin to allow previewing replay files. In the same way you can press space to see a preview of an image file, you can now see a preview of a Starcraft 2 replay. Just highlight the replay in Finder and hit the space bar. Below is an example:
Download here
Installation instructions: open up Terminal and run these commands: mkdir ~/Library/QuickLook cd ~/Downloads # or wherever you downloaded it unzip SC2Look.qlgenerator.zip mv SC2Look.qlgenerator ~/Library/QuickLook/ qlmanage -r
Making it prettier: If you open the bundle (right click, show package contents) and go to Contents/Resources/, you can see a collection of images and the html template. Please feel free to edit them and make it look nicer. It does still need work.

It puts a star next to the winning team. My plan is to add game duration, region name and maybe APM.

I actually use bootcamp to run SC2 but this is still a really nice, well done tool. Thanks for your work!

You're welcome. Is Windows better for SC2 because of DirectX? I forgot to mention this plugin works fine without SC2 installed.

Hi, is this limited to 10.7? Because i can not seem to get it to work on 10.6.8. Copying the bundle into my home library and restarting quicklookd works fine, but the preview doesn't change?
Thanks!

Yes this version doesn't work on 10.6 because I forgot to compile for 10.6. I'll upload a new version tonight.

I pretty much only play SC2 on my PC, but still a neat program. Will pick this up next time I am on my MacBook Pro. Thanks!
