Q: At last, you made it to the Code S Finals for the first time.
A: I never expected to actually win 3:0. Even though it feels good to win in this easy manner, I feel a bit sorry because aLive is like a brother to me.
Q: What did you expect the score to be?
A: I thought that it'd take at least 5 games for us to decide the winner.
Q: Why do you think you managed to get this unexpectedly easy win?
A: aLive played overly safe, which made it easy for me.
Q: In the second game, your void ray strategy was scouted, but you still managed to win.
A: I started attacking the bunker before the void rays were charged up, and the damage couldn't keep up with the repair speed. As I was about to pull them off, I realised they were already charged. aLive also decided to come out of his base to engage my army. As a result, I was able to win.
Q: Depending on the results of the next game, your opponent could be your team mate DongRaeGu.
A: I hope he advances, because that way, my victory in the finals is guaranteed (laughs). Other players find it difficult playing against DongRaeGu, but as I demonstrated in the round of 32, it's easy and relaxing for me to play against him.
Q: This is your first finals ever since you won in Blizzcon 2010. What's the secret behind your sudden uprising this time?
A: All this while, I didn't set my goals too high. I was satisfied just with remaining in Code S. My father's encouragement was my motivation. His encouragement motivated me to work and practise harder, and also to set my goals higher. I am thankful for that.
Q; If DongRaeGu advances, the change to phoenixes in patch 1.4.3 would be good for you.
A: I can win easily even without the patch (laughs). So it doesn't matter to me whether or not there's a patch. From what I saw, he didn't seem to practise much even though it was the semi-finals. There's a small part of me that wishes he gets sniped, but I'm not sure what the actual results will be.
For the finals, I actually want to win 4:0, but I will give him some face, and let him win 2 games.
Q: What if GuMiho is the one who makes it through?
A: Terrans are too imba. In Code A yesterday, all the Protosses lost to Terrans, and those Protosses were good players too. I think it'll be really difficult if GuMiho advances.
Q: Say something about you being called "foam".
A: I'm ok with that. Anyway, it's a nickname that my fans gave to me. I appreciate the nickname even though it might not be too good.
(T/N: Foam is like a figure of speech describing something that looks like it is prospering on the outside, but is actually not something substantial. This has been translated over-rated by some translators on TL. I hope I correctly translated this.)
Q: Any last things to add?
A: Thank you to NSH_Hoon. He helped me the most. Also thankful to the other players who helped practise. I saw Keen's celebration yesterday. Unless he wants to end up like DongRaeGu, I hope he doesn't act so recklessly in front of me.

Q: At last, you made it to the Code S Finals for the first time.
A: I thought I would win 3:0 easily today, so I didn't really practise much. I started regretting not practising though, when I was 0:2 down. But at the end, I managed to adjust my mentality, and started playing well.
Q: What do you think were the reasons that made you go down 0:2?
A: I underestimated my opponent. I thought I just had to play stable, but my opponent was much better than I expected. As a result, the rhythm of the games were not in my control.
Q: What were your thoughts when the third game started?
A: When I thought of Genius making fun of me, I just thought that I couldn't lose today, so I tried to concentrate on the game as much as possible.
Q: When you manage to even the score out at 2:2, you were at an advantage when it came to mental states.
A: It was certainly that way. At 2:2, I realised that my opponent started looking shaky and started making many small mistakes. Because of that, I thought that I would definitely win the fifth game.
(T/N: The Chinese translation missed out one question over here so I'm unable to translate it. If anybody wants to post a translation for this question I'll add it in. The answer to this question is really short though, so I'm guessing it's not really that important a question anyway.)
Q: In the previous interview with Genius, he said that he has the ability to win you 4:0, but to save you some face, he'll let you win 2 games.
A: I think that if I were to play seriously and properly against him, I can also win 4:0. But since this is the finals, to make it fun and entertaining to watch, I'll give him about two to three games before making a dramatic comeback to win.
Of course, Genius would need to have the skills to perform well to go along with the scenario that I came up with. It's all up to him.
Q: It's an MVP team kill in the finals. Are there any plans for any fun and unusual celebrations?
A: Preparations for those are definitely a must. Genius will definitely prepare them in situations like this. He likes to find fun and laughter in situations like this. I will also prepare some interesting things outside the game.
Q: Looking at how both of you are bm-ing each other, it really feels like you are really good friends.
A: Yes, we're really close, but I haven't known him for a long period of time. I wanted to swear at him when I first met him on battlenet. But after a while, after getting used to it, we just bm-ed each other back and forth. It becomes really awkward when either one of us compliments the other. This is our way of displaying our friendship.
Q: Any last things to add?
A: I leave for MLG tomorrow. I will work hard to achieve good results in MLG.
I want to thank the players who helped me practise. I also want to thank my family and friends who have been cheering for me. I will do my best to show an interesting finals. Hopefully people can come to the finals to support us.
