After resting a season you have now returned to Code S. Tell us how you feel.
After resting for a season like this, I was able to realize just how valuable Code S truly is. Getiing back to Code S was a really good motivational factor and I am so glad that I was able to make it like this.
How did you prepare for your group?
Since I had to play all three races I practiced mainly through ladder. I focused mainly on the basics as I practiced.
During your game against FanTaSy, you mismicroed your brood lords.
My mouse broke so I had to change it yesterday. I think I hadn't fully adapted to the new mouse yet. Because the mouse was all over the place, I just kind of decided to just go for it and then the game ended up turning out that way.
Were you expecting to advance out of your groups as first?
I figured I would sustain one loss from a Terran player and then go on to win against everyone else. Since I was confident in my ZvPs, I figured I would advance out with four or five victories.
For this season, there are a ton of players who are aiming for the championship.
As of right now, my momentum is not at high enough stage where I can aim for the championship. I have to raise it a bit more. I want to work really hard and at the very least, make it to the round of eight for Code S. It's the final season for WoL so I want to show a great form.
With the release of HotS, most tournaments will also be transitioning along to HotS. We know you've tried out HotS so how do you feel about it?
I still have yet to play a lot of HotS games. I just played it a little since I had to play for an invitational. I really have no idea how it's going to be since there are so many patches. But as long as I have the same mindset that I had when I approached WoL, I should be able to make it far like I did with WoL.
For this season, are there any players you want to grab revenge against or avoid?
Everyone is a difficult opponent. I don't really have anyone I want to dodge or take on. Whoever I end up facing, I would want to face that player. I think it's going to be fun.
Anything else you would like to say?
Since I have been aging, the fans are starting to worry heavily for me. I just want to say that I'm still not finished yet so please keep on cheering for me (laughs). I want to thank the coach and his wife for always going through so much for us. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors LG Electronics, Steelseries, Googims Company, and Coca-Cola.

The new GSL for the year 2013 and you advanced to Code S. Tell us how you feel.
I am really glad. Since the year has started off great for me, I really hope this means that eventually, my skills will increase as well.
How did you prepare for your group?
I practiced mainly through ladder. Only ThorZaIN helped me out from my team so I was able to specially prepare for my PvTs.
In your game against Flying, you showed a daring nerve by grabbing your expansion and then you showed a defensive stance against his all in.
The deciding factor was that he attacked too late. I decided to play a little greedy since I already knew what my opponent was up to.
Overall, your performances revolved heavily around stalker plays and aggression.
My favorite unit is the stalker. Which is why I utilized stalkers the most in my games.
You qualified for the Up/Downs through a seed.
At first, I told myself that I didn't deserve this seed. Of course I still think this way even right now but I plan on working hard from here on out in order to prove myself.
You showed a very weak form last year. Why do you think this was so?
Around this time last year, I was really exhausted. I was in situations where it was really difficult to work hard so I think that's why I was showing a poor form. Even right now, only 30 - 40% of my skill is coming out. I will work hard however so that I can bring my old skills back out.
Anyone you would like to face this season?
Honestly, I have no idea who is in Code S right now. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it or not so I didn't bother to check out who the players in Code S were. Now I plan on finding out as soon as I get back home.
For a lot of players, this season of GSL holds a lot of meaning for them. How about you?
Once it passes you can't go back to it so I can't help but feel like maybe I should try to win a championship at least once.
Your current team, EG, is participating in Proleague. What is the difference between Proleague and the GSTL?
Proleague is great because the maps are fresh. Thanks to the addition of new maps, I have also found a new interest in the game. I hope Blizzard would also care about SC2 that much and come out with new maps in the near future. My most memorable moment was when I was with the oGs players and we were pitted up against PRIME. But back then, the team's skill was not that great so coach TheWind threatened us. He stated that we would be grounded if we lost our match. And then, I got sent out, grabbed the victory for the team, and we were able to avoid getting grounded. I hope I get to have chances like that again in the future for team leagues.
Anything else you would like to say?
I am most grateful to my closest friends. I lost a lot of fans once I started performing poorly. I will work hard again so I can show a great form once more. I want to thank ThorZaIN for helping me get in to Code S. I also want to thank supervisor Hwanni for bringing me my headset. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors Raid Call, Intel, Steelseries, Monster, and Kingston HyperX.
