I recommend you to check out the game Waframe. Here is the first trailer:
Here is an overview of the game:
It is 3rd person co-oop free to play hack and slash rpg.
Basically the game plays a lot like Mass Effect 2-3 but faster, like Vanquish (pretty good PS3 game) and then you add in the free to play and hero picking and upgrading element like in LoL. It also has some Metal Gear Rising elements too it. Just look for yourself.
Right now there are only about 2000 players, and the 50 or so I have met, were not communicative at all. If there are ~4 players in a game the game becomes much harder and better (like in Serious Sam there are 4 times more enemys). Also I think every game gets better when you play it with someone from TL.
Right now i feel like it doesn't take long to get into the beta. If you invite 3 friends you get in faster, so maybe we should post our referal links, register via them until 3 guys did it and then move on to the next. Since I'm already in, we'll just start with the first one who posts.
Definitely looks super interesting. I've been looking for good coop games (that I haven't completed multiple times already) for a while and this looks very promising. Signed up, but I don't see a referral link either ...

i think i'm missing the important bits though, where are you supposed to sign up for the beta or get your referral link?
https://warframe.com/signup here is the beta signup, once you get a beta key you need to signup again with your registered alias and the key though
when i registered i got a referal link in the confirmation e-mail, maybe they changed it though

I think the game is basically play forever:
you start on one planet and work your way towards another, you can repeat the ones you did already (even though you level and the enemys strength of a certain level doesn't change according to it, just according to the number of players)
however, there are 100s of missions and all the levels seem to be semi random (i just repeated two so far), where some setpieces are the same but the architecture is different - think diablo 2
The game is pretty cool though the tutorial could be more thorough, the sliding and other acrobatics were not explained well there. I guess that could be intentional with them wanting you to figure it out for yourself but sliding and all this other cool stuff is pretty cool as it is a 3rd person game.
Edit: Also, wtf? Did mmobomb just increase the keys? I swear they were 1000 an hour ago and now they are 5000...
Okay I've played for ~4hrs now, together with a friend. At first I thought it was rather bland as every level basically looks the same but actually got used to it after a while. The AI is indeed pretty bad, once you know what certain enemies are capable of it's pretty easy to get rid of them. Cash shop prices are way over the top imo, this is really unfortunate as the game itself begins to grow on me, despite it's flaws.
One thing that really bothers me is that I can't change general mouse sensitivity ( only for aim mode ). It's way too fast for my taste.
Has anyone progressed really far into the game? I cleared all of Mercury, found the other systems too hard to solo and I couldn't find anyone to matchmake with. When I tried the non-Mercury levels, they seemed like the same layout and general look which lead me to think the game currently does not have much to offer, even if their ideas are really nice.
i am beginning to see soem flaws cropping up, but i believe the potential is pretty high at the moment. i really hope the dev team addresses soem of the fan-base demands
Saw this game on steam today. Seems like it's launched now. I installed and played it and found it surprisingly fun and interesting. Might actually stick with it for a while. Anyone play this (and any still playing from beta)?
i played it today, but i feel like this game is designed around making people pay as much as possible.
I dont feel like i can just play and enjoy myself like in other free to play games like League of Legends. In this game i feel pressure to pay money every time i finish a mission.

but this game is worse.
it wants you to not only buy classes, but also weapons and those upgrades that make you way more powerful and cant be bought by the ingame currency. Also, you cant just buy stuff when you have enough ingame currency, you can only buy a blueprint, which then needs materials and then is crafting for a few days.
Thats just not my thing, i can live with having to grind for a new class for a few dozent hours like in league. But selling power and make buying with ingame currency really painful is too much for me.
