A server list is needed in order to live stream to a site, and FFSPLIT doesn't have one for youtube. There also isn't a single video or explanation anywhere that I can find, which explains how to get youtube servers to show up from the stream list using FFsplit.
That leaves the question of:
How the hell can anyone that makes how to videos, completely utterly, and totally fail to include any explanation on how to get FFSPLIT to work with youtube by bringing up a server list to show up when selecting youtube.
Also this was a message I came across on twitter through searching Google that cannot be done either:
That is a total lie because there is no such option anywhere in youtube itself that allows what they're saying to do. If that isn't what they mean then they clearly have no clue to what they're talking about. Clowns that post tweets and crap like that, need some serious training on how to very carefully word exaclty what they mean because WTF they're saying to do cannot be done.
In closing
Not sure who has the source code for FFSPLIT but they either need to,
1. Remove youtube from the list of streaming sites in FFSPLIT
or
2. They need to implement the youtube server list..either way youtube is not something you can use FFSPLIT to live stream to
If not, someone needs to make an in depth video on how to get a server list for youtube to show up.
