The GSL Code S RO32 blazed forward under a condensed schedule, with Groups E and F played over consecutive days.
Group E featured yet another early-phase upset, as Impact took first place in his group with a perfect 4-0 record. A strong online player with an unusual GSL jinx, Impact claimed his first RO16 spot in five Code S appearances. Zest advanced from the group in second place, making ByuN and PartinG the casualties of Impact's breakout GSL run.
On the other hand, Group F produced a predictable result, as Trap and TY kept their BlizzCon hopes alive by advancing, while effectively ending Bunny and RagnaroK's WCS 2018 seasons in process.
Code S continues later this week with another back-to-back series of groups.
I wonder if ByuN will consider a wrist rest. Impact definitely didn't 'break out' so much as ByuN's wrist seemed to break. There were flashes of total micro loss interspersed in longer periods of brilliant flawless classic ByuN micro.
Should we run some awareness campaign about gaming with bent vs straight wrists?

Anyways congrats to Impact and Trap specifically, spicy underdogs(ish) making the leap. Really exciting season so far!

I'm gonna agree with this. The weakest of the pack this season are Forte and MMA. Other than that I'd say everyone was on a high level.
I always had faith that Trap would make it out alive. Was very devastated when PartinG lost his games though. He looked really distraught after losing to Zest. In all honest he should've won that game had it not been for the Artosis Pylon. The mindgame he played was amazing. Hoping that this isn't the last we see of PartinG.
