Number of players - 2 Tileset - Mixed (Slayn, Redstorm, ShakurasTemple, etc.) Spawn Positions - 11, 5 Base Count - 16 Uploaded on - NA, EU, KR
◇ Overview + Show Spoiler +
◇ Backstory - Commemorating the National Liberation Day of Korea, August 15th. The map's shape resembles Korean flag. - Taegeuk stands for circle shape in middle of Korean flag. It means 'Supreme Ultimate' associated with Taoism or shamanism. - Terraform helped me a lot to make curved layout of the map. ◇ Description - A 2 player point symmetry map. Large map allows semi-macro plays.
- Main-Nat-2 Thirds layout follows current mainstream. Lower third has a rock to help defenses.
- Highland passages are relatively narrower than the lowest. LoS blockers are there to annoy you too.
- Middle is split with vertical/horizontal ramps and rocks. Narrowed ramps hinder army flows in early games. Destroy rocks to get wider spaces.
- Attackers can perform attacks by moving armies drawing a curved lines.
- Golds are really far from your main but that's same for your opponent too.

Fun map. I like the Terraform vibes.

I like it a lot. I'm not sure all the ramps in the middle are necessary though--maybe the two horizontal ones in the middle could be removed or shifted to make the pathing less direct early on.
|
It sure has many ramps on middle.. But those two horizontal ones have large rocks on them, isn't that OK? I'm afraid of ranged units' overpower when possessing those cliffs in late games.

With all the rocks down especially the huge horizontal one I think it should be okay.
What I was thinking of is this: + Show Spoiler +, but I don't think it's a big deal either. Maybe the current way is better.

Actually after seeing the image I think your suggestions would make the map better. Makes the path less direct and interlock well with ramps on the opposite side. I'll try to shift each ramps and merge them.
|
That's a cool looking map. I'd prefer it without the goal bases but it's not a big deal.
|
Thanks! I'll leave them for now then

I really like it. Its an interesting map that has a unique idea and theme and still works. Which is not so easy to achieve.

Thank you Zweck, I especially appreciate your praise since I know you're master of creative layouts. :D

I kinda merged the ramps into one, it would be better if I could use 60 degree ramps.. Reduced highest ground-overlord pods to give spaces as before.

This is such a cool concept, and I also have a soft spot for asymmetrical colors on maps. I like how you've managed to pull off the idea without compromising how the map would actually play out
|
I really enjoy this map. it looks really nice,

The more I look at this map, the more I like it. It's standard by any measure, but it's not boring at all. The aesthetic is gorgeous, and it's a great implementation of the flag over a map layout, so props for that too.

Thanks for all your comments. I'm receiving excessive compliments. xD I'm trying to make better maps these days and glad you guys liked the map. Should be working harder to match higher expectations.. Thanks again!
