However playing at 60+ fps is overated if you have a system that can run it over 30+ (you can only see dips in fps below 24) it will look really good. I first played this when it was fairly new since they gave copies with alot of cards at the time. My card that was 3 years old could run it fine at 1680 wide, so if you are thinking of buying it you are safe if you got a decent computer in the last 2-3 years. To the OP : haha it's cool just felt like pointing it out for fun. Don't reset the poll for nothing.

Warhead campaign was really good, but also extremely short. Still worth $5 I'd say. Original crysis campaign was both really good AND really long!

Crysis is a solid piece of entertainment so far. Mission design is alright, and I like that you have to figure out things for yourself every now and then (to a certain degree) instead of being hand-held through the missions. Fights are mildly challenging even on normal difficulty, you have to aim and enemy soldiers act like they've actually enjoyed some military training (instead of missing >95% of their shots like in other games). Can't do anything wrong with this for 5€, I can recommend it.

Game sucks in my opinion. The story is linear, the monsters are generic (same 3 of the DS1 +3-4 more). Scare-factor? Too loud sounds and a lot of popping in your face. That's it. There's the effect of taking pieces of enemies and shooting them towards others, but the idea is barely used. Annoying "hacking" minigame mechanic. Final boss is an annoying bitch. gg Uniqueness of guns? Nothing beyond usual: + Show Spoiler + Flamethrower, Detonator (grenade-launcher essentially), Line Gun is cool (Shoots a line of laser that rips the enemies in half), Rifle Gun, Ripper Blade (Razer sharp blades that rip through shit), Javelin gun is cool, you shoot the enemy with a giant spear and then can do AOE electric damage with the alt. fire and the rest is really negligible. There's alternate fire, but you'll only use it once in a while. Don't buy DS1 to understand DS2. DS2 gives you a giant cutscene to tell you of DS1. I liked DS1, the final boss was too easy, but the game felt so much better and creative. Not scary, but I felt they were just trying to put that horror genre into emphasis and not intentionally meaning to scare you.

DS1 was a poor pc port with issues that were never officially adressed IIRC. DS2 is missing DLC, dunno if 1 is.
