Alienware Arena's North America & Europe StarCraft II Pro-Am Challenge
Alienware Arena is proud to announce the launch of the North America & Europe StarCraft II Pro-Am Challenge. StarCraft II players will have a chance to earn a spot to play against their favorite pro players for nearly $5,000 in cash prizes.
The Tournament!
The regular season begins October 30th for both North America and Europe with the top 32 players in both regions moving on to the Playoff Tournament where the final four North American and four European players will move on to play against four North America and four European pro players in the Pro-Am Tournament.

[CSL] AZUBU Hurricane Sandy Relief
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, millions of people on the East Coast are now without power, food, water, and homes. AZUBU and the Collegiate Starleague are issuing a call to the ESPORTS community to aid those in need through an all-day charity event, the AZUBU Hurricane Sandy Relief Tournament.
On November 8, from 1:00pm PST - 1:00am PST, join AZUBU and the Collegiate Starleague in a series of tournaments, showmatches, guest-appearances, and fun community events. Viewers will be encouraged to donate to the Chip-In fund, and donations can be done through PayPal - a link will be provided when the stream goes live.

The GSL World Championship Qualifiers are made up of two brackets. One for Europe and one for North America and the rest of the world. From the European bracket, two players will earn their way into the GSL World All Star Team and from the World bracket, one player will earn their way into the World All Star Team.

The four players with the highest GSL 2012 point rankings are distributed to the four groups - 1st place to Group A, 2nd to group D, 3rd to group C and 4th to Group B.
There are three rounds of nominations:
- 1st place in points nominates their player, then 2nd to 4th (A - D - C - B).
- The nominated player in Group D nominates another player to join that group. Then the nominated player of Group C, B, and A follow (D - C - B - A).
- The nominated player in Group A nominates another player to join that group. Then the nominated player of Group B and C follow. The last player is placed in Group D (A - B - C - D).

Intel Extreme Masters: Singapore KR/TW Qualifier Stage 1, Cup 4
The Intel Extreme Masters next stop takes us to the amazing land of Singapore, where once again the world's best gamers will battle it out for supremacy over their respective fields. The StarCraft 2 and League of Legends tournaments will provide a grand total of $82,000 as players from Europe, America and Asia duke it out for the top spot. If you live in Korea or Taiwan and are reading this thread, this is your chance to be a part of the experience! For people around the world, you can enjoy players battling for IEM slots.
The Korea and Taiwan qualifier will once again be split up into 3 stages (detailed below). Stage 1 will consist of 4 cups open to everyone, you can sign up and participate to then earn a spot in Stage 2. Stages 2 and 3 are mostly comprised of invites based on a ranking system. For Singapore we've also factored in players who qualified for China in order to give them the best opportunity possible for their previous feats.
