Global Gaming Alliance Finals
The Global Gaming Alliance (GGA) is proud to announce, after 8 months of qualifiers, the launch of our GGA Starcraft II Finals Event! On December 19th 2012, thirty-two (32) qualified and pre-invited professional players will go head to head for a piece of $10,000 in cash and prizes. All matches will be taking place online, and streamed via Twitch.TV

Rules of Engagement - Mechanics of the Bizarre
MLG's new show features MLG's top SC2 analyst Nick "Axslav" Ranish teaching and breaking down gameplay mechanics geared at both new and advanced StarCraft II players.
Rules of Engagement airs daily Monday-Thursday at 5pm ET.- Monday - "Talking Tactics" - Featuring high level plays from top pro matchups.
- Tuesday - "Developing Fundamentals" - Designed for the newer SC2 player to get better fast.
- Wednesday - "Mechanics of the Bizarre" - Featuring some uncommon or just mind-blowing play mechanics from top pro players that worked out to create an interesting game.
- Thursday - "Community Critique" - Axslav takes user replay submissions and breaks down where a viewer went right, and where they went wrong.

Introduction:
After four months of battling, we now have our 32 finalists who have advanced from a total of 128 players, and the double elimination playoffs will start 12/11! ASL invited both professional and amateur players from Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan, and SEA region to our tournament, and after the 2 group stages, the last 32 elite from all over Asia will now compete for the glory and the crown of the our Champion!
Prizes:

Champion: 50,000 NTD (~1666 USD)
Second Place: 30,000 NTD (~1000 USD)
Third Place: 10,000 NTD (~333 USD)

Tuesday's ASL was concluded rather abruptly, granted that we saw both PhoenixCourage as well as iG.XiGua move on to the round of 16 and their opponents were knocked down in to the round of 32. The plan is on tuesday nights, we will have 2 sets, and on Thursdays, we will have 5 sets (Bo3 format) until further notice.
