Theres no point in going into the BW forum part if you only feel like saying bad things about a game some of us enjoy.
I really do hope they will play a few BW matches just so blizzard show they still support their old games. One can only hope tho

why bother replying lol, everyone knows the only bw players that go to sc2 are oldies or noobs. people just want to delude themselves into thinking that jaedong and co are switching over because they are attending blizzcon

Why no Stork? He could at least do some cosplay related to WOW. I have no idea what JD will do in blizzards history section...

Pretty much this. I would much rather hear about speculation on what the quartet is doing at Blizzcon rather than scroll past pages of SC2 vs BW. I love the passion and love that BW fans have for BW, but it's depressing to see that the passion also makes many of them way too sensitive to mild trolls and slight ignorance from SC2 fans about BW. It's great to have that passion for such a beautiful game, but it's also great to ignore the little trolls in life and just simply not give any fucks about them and move on with real discussion.

Blizzard trying to alienate the fans once again. -_-;;

I want to see JD doing a baneling bust on a greedy player, I want to see fantasy doing a hellion run-by, I want to see jangbi doing blink stalker micro, and I want to see bisu. I never get these sort of statements. How's it going to look any different from any Master/Diamond level players' play? Especially when they probably haven't played a lot of it. Edit: *pat* Gann at least they know who Jaedong is, I go like "Jaedong fighting!" on the SEA server and they are like "who is jeading I thought nestea was the best Zerg?" Because it's JD. Why does everyone watch the video of him singing ? How's it any different than any other guy singing? I want to see them play a showmatch of SC2, to me atleast it's interesting.
Just like the yellow vs Boxer showmatch was interesting to me even though it as a roflstomp.

Can we move these thread to sc2 now ? since majority of the post comes from sc2 poster.

Why and so what? 4 broodwar players are going to Blizzcon and we have no confirmation they are going to play anything SC2 related there. All we know is that Blizzard has invited them there.
So yes, it is in a correct forum in my opinion and it shouldn't be in the SC2 section.

some shinier newer game will come along a year after the last sc2 expansion i'm sure. then sc2 fans will be like bw fans are now, and the bw crowd will be like wc2 fans (shoutout to the 5 of you that are still out there) No other developer makes RTS in the same way that Blizzard And if Blizzard did release a new RTS, it will be when we're all grandparents Tbh the Blizzard that made BW is not the same Blizzard that made SC2.

This threads kind of disgusting to read. BW people hating on sc2 and sc2 people hating on bw and saying sc2 is the future bla bla bla.
Both are good fucking games jesus can't this just be an awesome post and not have to turn into a typical bw vs sc2 thread? Both are great games who cares what they play when they go to blizzcon its going to be awesome whether they play bw or sc2 or both would be even more win. But does it really matter? Just awesome to see these 4 players going and honestly I want to see them play both games .

Blizzard better not coerce/encourage them to switch over. I'm getting this bad feeling about this..

Really, I think BW's brilliance in game design was a complete fluke, especially considering the crazy stuff that was in the alpha and beta versions of the game, as well as the state of balance before 1.08.
OT: The RTS stage's schedule looks pretty packed with SC2 stuff, and the time slot for HotS/SC2 multiplayer is only an hour long, so I really doubt that a showmatch is in order.
However, I have hopes that perhaps some sort of showmatch (BW or SC2) could be arranged as pre-match entertainment right before the GSL finals in lieu of the lack of kpop. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure that Bisu, Jaedong, Jangbi, and Fantasy are mainly there to test out the HotS alpha and give some sort of feedback about it.

If you are here just to bash SC2 posters then you have just as much value as the SC2 trolls here, some people are just interested in these 4 A or +A progamers coming to Blizzcon.

Wouldn't really say so, the lead designers for sc1 are still at Blizzard. Just Browder is leading the design for sc2.

Really, I like watching both games since I only recently got into the Starcraft pro scene through both games, though I ironically feel more comfortable posting in SC2 threads and LRs for some reason, maybe because I'm kinda scared about getting angrily corrected by BW posters in the event that I accidentally say something wrong in a BW thread or LR. (damn, I'm writing HUGE run-on sentences at this hour.) Really, I just try to be careful not to offend either kind of fans and try to appreciate both games.
