This is really all we're missing, guys. I'm confident this SSL will perform very well viewership-wise as BW always has and that'll be enough to catch sponsor's attention. If Flash and Jaedong could just return . . . I would lose my mind.

No what we are missing is new blood. For whatever reason no amateur guys seem to be able to step up to the level of SOSPA ex-pros. Without that the scene begins to crumble over the next 2-4 years as the current generation leaves of move onto other things.

BW survived until 2007 with no TBLS and it will need to be able to survive 2015 with no TBLS if it's going to continue in the long run. Besides, even if they all came back to play, that era is not going to return any more than we'll get 90s football again if Dan Marino, John Elway, and Brett Favre all unretire. They're all older and slower and several years out of practice. I would be far more excited to see whoever the promising young blood is in SC2 right now announce that they were planning on competing in BW than I would to see the corpses of Jaedong and Flash play out a poor imitation of one of their legendary games from 5 years ago.

can compete with ex-pros who in the past have been training for years in a professional teamhouse 12 hours a day almost everyday with many other like-minded talented peers around them and also receive the guidance of coaches whenever necessary. the only reason why amateur can sometimes take games off them nowadays is that the expros' skills have somewhat deteriorated from lack of regimented practice. until you can bring that professional training environment back for amateurs to join they can never reach the level of standard the expros have already attained from years of regimented training.
