Ok, then people shouldn't be so sensitive about the n-word (just so i don't offend anyone -_-) because not many highschoolers are bigots.

Admittedly I don't listen to TotalBiscuit's shows/casts/etc. so I dont' know the veracity of this claim, but it seems to suggest that he routinely makes these sort of gaffes?

I'm all for fighting against the use of gay synonyms as meaning "bad," but I'm also against the jump to mass protest over uses of it. It doesn't help, if it did Eminem would have gone bankrupt years ago. I am boycotting ESWC but that's just because they seem like douche puppies.

Even if TB were using the terms to mean something discriminatory (which he wasn't), this type of thread is not a proper response.

TB has my support and this will not change because of 2 words said to someone who deserved it.

Kobe Bryant was recently fined $200,000 for shouting this slur at a referee. Since there is no overarching eSports organization, we have to fight for our right to be included and protected ourselves.

I don't have references but i've read it typed out a few times. I'm not saying I'm necessarily on the side of the OP im just saying what i've seen. I personally feel that if you want to make a professional career out of casting you should try to avoid using highly offensive terms such as fagot. You are in the public eye and you need to remember that. Whether you feel using the word was ok or not I feel you need to be more careful with word choice in public. Such as on the stream. I feel you probably offended a number of members of the GLBT community and this is a result of it. Maybe the word regularly was inappropriate in my post but you have said it before. Those are my 2 cents. Whether you agree or not is your prerogative.

Black rappers use it and no one gets offended...language is dumb and is all about context. You cannot assault someone because you take the literal meaning instead of the implied meaning.
