Also Riot responded to rumors (they didn't announce new rules with qualifiers), so everything would be fine.

Well maybe we will still see them in NA. They just cant go as an all Korean game, but 2 can always join a team. It all depends on their English skills or their willingness to improve it. If a korean trys hard and starts some crash course now he could be pretty good until the next season starts. In any case I would be very surprised if we dont see more Koreans in NA and maybe EU next season.

I don't think that Shy/Madlife are crazy enough to change situation when they can play only with one atrocious ad and still have biggest fanbase in Korea to situation, when they recruit three random NA challenger players and try to pursue NA LCS from that point. But it's funny cockblock by Riot no matter what though, i was waiting for hype and now it's broken dream.

Well challenger team of course not, I was more thinking replacing people on existing LCS team. Like Lustboy and Helios did.

Well, other thing is that you have to replace your both toplaner and support for it. Only team who might give it a shot is EG, having more Koreans in team was never a bad idea. Ofc i mean teams with at least some hopes for next season, not random team who's going to enter LCS after Expansion tournament.

CLG is a better candidate, they will surely need 2 players and after releasing Seraph and Dexter they will have zero foreigners. Maybe Dig will look for a new bot lane. And some unexpected, super crazy stuff will happen anyway like always before a new season.

CLG will have to replace Aphromoo for it and i'm not sure that they will go for it and Dignitas is still Dignitas.

Riot:"if a team has two or more exempt non-resident players, they cannot add additional non-exempt non-resident players to their starting roster" And pretty sure Krepo is excempt non-resident as well, maybe he qualifies for getting the residency status though. Riot will publish soon their conditions for that, we dont know them yet. If both retain the excempt non-resident status and stay in the team, EG can not add any Koreans to for example replace Innox. Regarding CLG, I was only talking about them being a candidate for adding Koreans in general, not any particular players. I dont see them as a Madlife candidate either.

But it's exempt ;/ Ye, seems like you're right, that's pretty damn sad though, lol. Dunno, i really think that they're going to stay if it's the case or just go to EU if it's going to be same case as WCS, that you're only need to get visa to participate next season.

1. Fnatic: 49g/p 2. Cloud 9: 35g/p 3. Alliance: 23.8g/p 4. Solo Mid: 21.2g/p 5. SK Gaming: 20.4g/p 6. LMQ Tian Ci: N/A, in China C9 and Fnatic have been in Korea the longest, so the fact that they're the top 2 active in soloque isn't that big of a surprise, but the gap between them is massive. If you paired up any of 3-5 with each other, they still wouldn't reach Fnatic's soloq presence. This leads me to believe that Fnatic is having issues finding scrim partners as opposed to C9. The gap between 1 & 2 is almost as large as 2 to 3 & 4. Some of this can be attributed to later arrival, but since it's TSM and Alliance, I'm going to guess they aren't having a hard time finding scrim partners due to being #1 seeds, Koren respect for Froggen, and Loco/Lustboy having connections with the scene. For outside influence on this supposition, SK has almost as many games in as Alliance/TSM, yet they arrived latter(last.)

Diffrent is that Alliance was scrimming first day/C9 wasn't. Also Tabzz didn't play much soloq.
