I’m proud to announce my new team. Blightgaming! I have been teamless for almost a month now but I am really thankful to finally find an organization which will support me in my future starcraft career. Since I gained a lot of motivation because of my new team i will train even harder to reach the top of my game and start playing full time in october 2012. I am also looking forward to play together with my good old friend vipro again! Please keep supporting and cheering for me in the future! -Bastian “SaltTheWound” Brouwers Player
Bastian is a really nice person to talk with, I am glad hes joining our team. He ends his work in October shortly after he can commit full time with our team. Currently Bastian is committing great idea’s to expanding our play style but not the amount he wish to unlock his true potential. It’s a treat to watch him on Take.TV -James “Blackfoger” Larsen Owner
So... should we just ignore what Blackfoger says? It seems like last time it was just drawing publicity (albeit negative) to himself and blight of a team blight is.
Seriously Blackfoger everyone will just hate you even more. For how long are you going to do this? Destroy gaming for people and everyone else. Really... I'm disgusted.
You can't be serious? Considering the damage this guy can cause to a player, in terms of contract issues and financial loss I would highly encourage Team Liquid to outright ban him from the community. He's damaging not only the relationship with the players he lies to but also our community.

Despite what everyone thinks we have been supporting teams for awhile. Rebranding won't solve the issues of past mistakes it would be running away from them.

As much as I dislike your team and do not trust you, I respect that notion, and if you ever want to be legitimate I agree with that decision. Running away from your problems is almost never the answer, and I do have to respect the tenacity that you hold to your team despite your illegitimate dealings.
I am surprised that TaKeSeN didn't prevent that. Please be carefull STW. Darkforce posted a nice video recently which touches that topic:
Edit: Cool, I didn't know the video will be watchable here ^.^ Edit2: How do I stop it from starting automatically? Removed the direct-to-click-link to not annoy people

Excuse me? Besides reading some posts and agreeing with the general public I doubt you have ever worked with us, please refrain from rude comments.
But it is a FACT that you have scammed, lied to, and lied about many people. Until you pay off all your debts while at the same time not accruing any more, you will be shunned by the community, and any sponsors you do manage to get will be contacted by many people.

Probably so we can see stuff like this instead of having him going around in the shadows signing people not giving us the chance to post in here and ward others off and tell them of his previous actions.

As if this thread didn't create enough of a shit-storm, it would appear Blight Gaming is at it again. Congratulations to the newest fraud victim player to join the organization. Good luck with your new team... SaltTheWound.
Our teams that we have acquired have received what has been promised as well as what's exactly stipulated in their contract. Our Team Fortress 2 team is not contracted they received support, our CSS/CSGO team Zomblerz whom we were partnered with for about a year was not contracted and received support. Our current SC2 roster has received support we have no intention of "Scamming" them. As I said prior we are announcing a new sponsor, we just want room to breathe and operate.

oh my effing... are you guys kidding me? Didn't you both have this exchange in the last thread already?
I think some of you want this guy to scam the players so you have a new figure to point the pitchforks at. Only time will tell if this guy is still scamming people, in the meantime chill out in his announcement threads. Jeez

Ok so what teams have you been supporting for LANs and travel? Paying ESEA fees to compete online doesn't count. I'm 22 and in college and I can do that.
You only list a CS:GO and TF2 team on your website (Your TF2 team can't even field a full roster for a LAN according to the Blight website btw.)
You have 2 sponsors listed. Dolby (which has been confirmed to not actually sponsor you, it's just that you use their products) and Own3d. Somehow I doubt Own3d is anything more than a partnership that any pro-player could do.
Start showing how you can support teams and teams you've supported and people will be a lot more likely to believe you.

You realize that so many people will email ur sponsors telling them what you have done to the community. I have always been against emailing sponsors and destroy for organizations and players and their livelihood but i think you deserve it Blackfoger.
I hope they email them so many times that you will lose ur support from them IF they are even real. Because own3d is not a "sponsor" they just give u partnership. And Dolby IS not a sponsor they don't give you any money and u lost 1 of ur sponsors also. Ur a typical liar Blackfoger and i hope your blight team goes under for what you have done to people.
I thought we went over this, we would like you to pay rum for the money you owe him, also we wouldn't mind the money you promised us either, after that you can move into sc2 without appearing like a tool
So Blackfoger, do you ever intend to acknowledge people like this:

We have been to a number of LANS this year alone. We sent Zomblerz to a few ESEA LANs, our TF2 team has a fully roster not yet finished on the website designing a different team page. You can speak with our current teams about how they are being supported as they are one's getting support, I have said it is coming out of pocket, advertising income, donations, private investors, streaming income and sponsors.

You again have zero idea of our partnerships with our current/past teams, we have not had any issues for awhile and the problems you are talking about are near 2008/9. Our website does not misrepresent our sponsorships, they are our sponsors that is why we put them up there. A sponsorship is not always fiscal backing sometimes its gear package, marketing exchange, traffic redirection, or banner exchange just some possabilities.

You need to change the way you're responding to people. You're only making yourself look like an even bigger scammer and liar by getting so defensive and condescending. I'll only let you know what you already should, but this community is the real thing, fuck with them, and your "business" is done forever. Period. So tread lightly and think about what you're typing on here.
Excuse me, even if there's an hypothetical situation where you could've changed, you lost everyone's trust forever and you deserve it. Change your career path.
Whelp my mind is completely blown as how this guy manages to pick up some poor souls bound to get screwed over at some point. I am sure when he's done paying off previous debts with sponsors money he is currently getting (according to his brilliant business strategy in his previous thread) all the current team will get screwed when no more money. Although I am sure he'll ask people to pay for themselves with a guarantee to pay them back after they spot themselves...........
Yeah I'm gonna ask TaKe or Salt about this in their chat the next time TakeTV goes live. If anybody can get in touch with them earlier - go ahead. TaKe should have enough experience in this business to help him deal with this.
It's as if the other thread didn't even happen. He's going to continue making announcements as if any of us trust him or believe a word he says. Laughable to be honest...
This guy is a joke. Posting in his threads will only encourage his insanity. I will not longer click these thread and just hope that the players don't get harmed in the future.
In other news, I have no clue what kind of feedback you expected about one of your announcement when you got shit for posting that you recruited Crane a few days ago. There's still also the lack of transparency to your business from the fact that you're fixing stuff and you've talked to people despite them speaking up to the public; also that you have "private investors" and a 5-year business plan and marketing plan to pay off your debt.
If you expect to have some respect and standing in TL or in the sc2 community, you haven't given us a lotta stuff to work with expect your word; your word that has put you and many people in currently outstanding debt. And it really doesn't matter if you've started to fix things, because its not all fixed yet. The fact that you made quite a number of mistakes confuses me as to why you're not paying off your debt before racking up more expense unless you're trying the "spend more money to make money" deal...
Oh boy those cs 1.6 days, and all the drama going on, i hope blight gets a good team for sc2 i was really wondering why they didnt had a sc2 team or a moba one
Someone warn the "lookatmychicken" guy on twitter. Hes a somewhat popular streamer on twitch. This guy wants to interview him lol, tell chicken to stay the hell away from this guy.
But now how will we know who he's going to screw over next? I almost feel t hat it's better for the SC2 community to let him post his announcements on TL so that we can actually warn the people he tries to screw over.

Blight.. to be honest at this point I am not sure if the team is even trying to be a serious team or if they are just messing around. The team's name just adds to the hilarity of the situation.
Blackfoger, the community has already expressed they don't want you or what you represent in this community. The best thing for you to do right now is right past wrongs, pay the multitude of people you owe (including 2,000 USD to me), and get out of this scene. You have already shown your hand to the eSports world, no sense in making it worse for yourself. Best wishes to those who have been sucked in by Blackfoger.
