We need to be constantly reassured that we're still pretty. Explained it pretty much perfectly. So what is the LoL community? A mediocre looking girl that has a rich boyfriend and he bought her the most expensive makeup and clothes so all the guys think she's the hottest girl ever right now. She also thinks highly of herself and got a lot of confidence because of these factors.
That describes LoL more than the LoL community but hey close enough I enjoyed the analogy

this is much bigger than dreamhack summer which was still big enough.

This doesn't surprise me... Again its like mlg Dallas was. Sc2 and LoL had the left and right sides, with the middle taken up by casters. Seems like CoD Is there now, which doesn't bother me
coach park to win it all!

You are right. That actually worries me a bit. Will sc2 fans be able to fill up all of them?Would be pretty funny if we moaned about too few seats and we can not fill them all.

If the crowd justifies the amount of seats I see there, I'll be a happy camper. I've been quite vocal and critical of MLG recently, but based on these pictures I have no problem with the size of the stage.

Booo stop killing esport drama and pitchfork

League of Casuals and Call of Kiddy as main-games is a terrible sign for real esport-games like SC2 or SSF. MLG basically says: "Casualgames make us more money, so get the fuck out SC2!"

FYI the LoL area does look bigger, so very misleading title...again
If people would just drop this it would simply go away, but you keep making a bigger deal out of it, I don't get it. LoL area is wider, because the booth layout of 5 vs 5 makes for a wider area in general, but the # of rows is less = same # of seats. As someone who's been to MLG Anaheim plenty of times, the layout changes they've made this time, just makes it easier to balance the # of chairs everywhere. The SC2 area looks as big as it ever has, the only difference is not being in the center column and not having a huge walkup stage like before, but it seems none of the games have them now so it's an overall change.
As someone who went to MLG Anaheim last year, I know for a fact this is a lot less seats. There was probably close to twice as many seats last year, and they were all full during the games everybody wanted to watch. The thing is, everybody was kind of upset with MLG after WCS AM, MLG didn't announce SC2 at Anaheim until very late and with a reduced prize pool. So of course less people are going to go spectate, as less progamers are going to be there playing.

Oh, is that why they've supported SC2 so heavily for so long, and continue to do so? Sorry, my mistake.

Uh.. what? You're an embarrassment to the SC2 community. Just because SC2 isn't the main focus and main event at tournaments doesn't mean shit. Esports as a whole has grown so much so fast, and it wouldn't have been possible without the addition of other games attracting a larger audience. Stop the "my game is better, so it deserves more" bullshit and grow up.

I don't care about any of this trite shit. I just want some good games of SC2.

He can be like the Bernard Hopkins of sc2
+ Show Spoiler +Bernard Hopkins is the oldest boxer in history to win a major belt.he was 46 years old when he did it surpassing George Foreman who was 45.

Even if SC2 got the smallest stage, it'd be warranted. Small prize pool, thrown together tournament due to MLG having to host WCS NA, and tons of other factors. It's similar to how SC2 actually was close to/beat League of Legends last event, mostly due to the fact that League only had a thrown together four team international tournament and then some forgettable amateur matches, while SC2 had the first HotS tournament with the most stacked 32 man bracket we had ever seen. This time around, League has LCS at MLG Anaheim, and SC2 are the ones "taking the tournament off" by having a less than star studded tournament with the tiniest prize pool in two years.

i don't get incontrol. Even if it is true what he heard. Why would you leak information that someone told you in confidence? If you have friends like that you don't need enemies i guess. I would be pretty pissed if someone hurt the reputation of the firm i am working for based on the information i gave him.
