Cool, a puzzle, I agree with everything
I think nr. 15 is is not a Greyjoy, since the character is clearly behind the waves, not in them. Also he is kind of purple, following the line of Rhaegar, Aerys. So since he is joined to them, I would guess Jon Connington. Connington was also the hand of the Mad King of course.

You need to label the derpy pig that killed Robert, too.

I think 76 is not a character, just the combination of the Hound's leg and a head on a pike that is part of Ilyn Payne's character.

^ What Ender said lol. There's also a mouthless dude with a smokey weapon at top left.
85 is close to Tyrion and Oberyn.

They should make an Anime series, now that i look at the picture. Would own the HBO one so hard if done well imo.

It kinda looks like a torso with a head, but it looks perfectly like Hound's leg armor and two heads on sticks.

They could make one with Dunk & Egg, see how it goes from there. That series is way more straightforward, and no need to find a whole set of actors for only a few hours per book.
ps. I like to think that 32 is the Fookin Legend of Flea Bottom. Such an important character can't be ignored!

Seriously, though. The whole "if done well" part is the problem here, and while the problems would be quite different than a life action series, there sure as hell would be a gazillion of problems for the show all the same. And compromises would have to be made. And, once again, fans would be mad about them.

Well obviously a comic/manga could be 95-100% true to the books, and only add the illustration, so if you consider that to be prefrable then absolutely yes.
If you look at the TV series as an adaptation on a different medium, which by default has to change at least somewhat the source material and make compromises.. well then, why would we even compare it to a manga

You don't have to pay actors, so your cast can be as big as you want it to be. There is no real budget limitation that causes less cgi or something like that. I actually don't think that there is one thing which would be more complicated for this medium. Sure, i can understand when you prefer real actors, but if you are open for animes/comics/graphic novels, i think you can agree that it could be "easily" more true to the source material.

That is pretty much the only reason i bring this up right now.

Sure, i can understand when you prefer real actors, but if you are open for animes/comics/graphic novels, i think you can agree that it could be "easily" more true to the source material. I agree that it would be easier on many fronts, definitely. But, well, you still have to pay voice actors, so no, you can't have a cast as big as you like. Unless you want your minor characters to sound different from season to season. Or different characters to sound the same. Which surely would be one of the gripes die-hard fans would have right away.
And many of the problems of the live action show are the same: You have only so many hours for the show. You have a target audience that needs to be happy. And, frankly, you don't have good acting. Animated shows are not very well animated, usually. Every scene we know and cherish from the live action show would be "missing" from the animated show. Sure, it would be there. But it would be flat and not very exciting. Every medium has its advantages and disadvantages.

Sure, you have to pay them too, but i would assume that it is almost no factor compared to actors. Frankly, i don't know exactly how much hours you could produce in one year, but i think it is fair to say that you could do more than the HBO series. Maybe i am wrong on that part though. The acting part is the one i would agree with though, a real actor is most of the time far superior to the animation and voice actor. That may be a big enough reason to not prefer it, would have to see it first though :D

omg thank you geo.rion. amazing.

So the guy that we wondering who he was in that image is probably Dakrkstar? His position facing darkstar and the way the hold their swords is my tell plus his general appearance being dark. The one above the mad king and to the left to aurther Dayne
