A harsh and hardcore experience that only the nerdiest of the nerds can endure. Who reads books in this day and age after all? I mean, you can encounter sentences longer than 5 words and sometimes it might even force you to reflect on something or, God forbid, think hard for a moment. Who would want that?
Sad but true

Night is Short, Walk on Girl This is an anime movie with a very unique art style and also narrative voice. Everything we see here is highly stylized, it's very post modern surreal. The story is about a young man who falls in love with a girl who doesn't really notice him a lot. We follow both of them through a night of partying and experiencing Kyoto. We meet a lot of unique characters along the way, with their own backstory and motivation while the main story is definitely about the potential romance our male main character is chasing after. I don't really wanna spoil what happens in detail, every little part of this story has its own charm and magic, just give it a try.

Your description reminds me of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Is it similar to that?

I didn't watch that one sorry. I will just say that they both are on a journey, she stumbling from new experience to new experience while he basically wants to find her affection. They don't interact a lot during that journey through the night (they're mostly apart), so it's not really a typical romance. All very surreal as well. It's only 90 minutes though, so definitely worth a try if you are open to rather unique animation.

8.5/10 I love Masaaki Yuasa! Check out Mind Game next. I have already watched that one years ago, i think that was the reason i simply put most of Yuasa's movies on my watchlist. I don't remember it too well, but i think it was even more surreal, the "sex scene" for example :D Definitely worth a watch, and if people are 420 friendly it might be worth it during that as well ^^

Avengers: Infinity War
First half of the movie is simply amazing. Second half is cringe-worthy clusterfuck of boring CGI action and meaningless stuff.
(9/10 + 1/10)/2 = 5/10 (this really has to be evaluated as 2 separate movies, there's so much disparity)
Also, don't bother waiting for the post-credits scene. Not worth it (unless you want to laugh at how they split credits into NY division, LA division etc. to try and hide the fact that CG artists and animators were three times as numerous as all the other staff combined).

I am still sort of in awe they were trying to pass this film off as a separate film from Avengers 4 that is coming out next year. The plan originally was to release them both in the same year, but then it kinda became clear they would cannibalize their sales and the sales other films Disney wanted to release this summer. I’m almost glad it is a cliff hanger. Leaves more room to breath.

I really liked infinity war. Laughed my ass off in 2 or maybe 3 scenes. Star lord impersonating Thor was really funny. I really like thor with the blue thunders around him and shit. The only thing dissapointing was the ending but oh well.
+ Show Spoiler +some say that at the end yeah after the long ass credits samuel jackson is sending the message to captain marvel which supposedly is the imba character of marvel like superman is for dc. But after seeing some pics on the internet that a woman playing it i was soo dissapointed. Also im pretty sure dr strange will do something with time and im pretty sure thor will put that hammer on the head of Thanos because he said to him "you should have aimed for the head" lol.

I liked it. For sure among the better Marvel flicks, that Scene with Thor and Starlord was seriously funny. The second half fell off pretty hard, just CGI galore which at places looked kinda off? I normally don't notice this or at least it doesn't irk me, here it did from time to time.
+ Show Spoiler + How did Banner get the Hulkbuster? He had no interaction with Tony during whole Movie?

Umm...
+ Show Spoiler +First of all, you do know Captain Marvel is a woman right? In the comics I mean. Well obviously you didn't, but if you had the time to google pictures of her, then why not even google some information? That's incredibly lazy, man.
Secondly, why would it be bad because a woman plays the role? Ok, you didn't know she was female, but still, where is the logic?
But yeah, great movie. Personally I think this is the best Marvel movie so far. And I actually liked the ending. + Show Spoiler +Pretty dark...quite unexpected. The bad guy (who also was brilliant as a character) won...

Good Avengers movie. Really, really good.
I'm not sure what you folks are saying, that the movie is in 2 acts, and the 2nd act drags. I didn't get that at all. I felt the humor and fight scenes were staggered fairly-well throughout. The Russos have never bored me with their pacing.
+ Show Spoiler +There isn't even one "end battle". They're divided, and each fight had moments of weight and levity... I didn't feel the dragging. Also, I really enjoyed seeing Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange flex their overpower-ness and it got me excited about future movies they might be in, and then THEY ALL DIED.
Actually, if I have one complaint, it's that they didn't kill Tony Stark in what felt like a good death-scene. Someone in the theater even yelled "Fuck!" in dismay. It was great. And then he just patches himself and is a-okay.
Comic-book spoilers about the sequel, don't click this:+ Show Spoiler +You're warned: + Show Spoiler +If you're wondering why they're killing off franchises, they aren't. The "Snap" deaths at the end can be un-"Snapped" in the sequel. People who physically died, however, like Gamora and Loki, are probably gone for good.

+ Show Spoiler +I was also sure he would die, but having Peter Parker die in his arms like that when Thanos succeded...man, that's so much worse...and brilliant.

+ Show Spoiler +I knew captain marvel is a woman but seeing that woman playing the role being nothing special (she isnt gal gadot) then I would prefer having a muscular man or something. Personal preference. Dont care so much about it if she can sneeze and destroy planets.

Brie Larson might not be Gal Gadot visually (but she is still a beautiful woman, not that this even matter all that much here) but she is 1000 times the actress. So if marvel gives her something to show that (which is questionable because that's not what the movies are about) you will hopefully see the light

+ Show Spoiler +I'm not going to lie I'm pretty traumatized after that ending. I was shocked after black panther went to ash but the way that spider man died really hit me in the feels harder then I was prepared for. Then as the credits were rolling the White block text on a black screen just triggered the idea of a memorial to the ones that died. After the last few marvel movies having a happy colorful end credits scene seeing that really hurt.
I think "you should have gone for the head" is going to live on after this movie as a famous line that people remember.
Thor being on the verge of completely breaking was great. Hes lost everyone from his franchise and he hurts. Peter dinklage was good too I think.
The bruce banner in the hulkbuster suit CGI was utter garbage once the helmet came off. I'm shocked that that made it through after everything. I don't get the second half drop off for people saying the CGI was bad but theres been a few movies where people have said the CGI was ban that I liked so I don't know really.
Good god though thanos was amazing He really felt like an unstoppable force that kept powering up. The red skull, killing Gomorrah and then ending the movie in a simple hut watching the sun rise were all touches that I really liked.
I'm legitimately depressed right now because of this movie but I'm okay with that.

Watched a quiet place. Was OK. Don’t understand the hype.
Typical kids-ruin-everything survival horror with telegraphed plot points.
7/10 at best, rotten tomatoes is crazy

A Quiet Place was a very quality horror film. The kids didn't ruin anything(besides the young one). It had good emotional moments, good suspense, good horror. It wasn't super memorable, but it did what it wanted to very well.
