Then it makes more sense already to gg, without the cc there really is no point.

I guess that day also confirms that TY is the best tvt and tvp player in the world. Really no surprise that his opponents does so much silly shit to try to beat him. Hope they fix adepts soon though. Soo boring.

Frankly it's on TY he didn't win 3-0. To move out without any intel about what your opponent is doing is reckless, and it got a bunch of his units killed. And honestly, in SSL it seems like a necessity to wall off your natural and get at least 1 bunker on Overgrowth because all the Protoss players refuse to play macro games on the map.

But can easily see him losing to any of the other three terrans, although he should beat ByuN and Maru in straight up games. He could lose to gumiho having a peak (even at IEM he only won becuse gumiho pulled back those infamous medivacs in g4). He could lose to byuN proxy raxing 4 games like he did the other week. And he actually a losing record vs Maru in LOTV. The only time TY has beaten him is at WESG and even then the finals was close. Although he's favoured against any of the other 3 it isn't an easy road. He has the best lategame for sure, but gumi/byun/maru are notorious at avoiding macro games

For example, he could have controlled his counter attack better, moving it up the ramp, camping (likely even killing, as GuMiho was slow to react and almost lost 2 CCs to marauders) GuMiho's production. He could have used his huge air lead (6 vikings to 1) to make liberators that could then camp the factories while the vikings camp the starport, making GuMiho unable to build a new army.

Not to speak of the disastrous macro. How does the bio-player up two CCs lose to the mech player after destroying most of the mech army? TY continues to be his own worst enemy. On his good days, he looks like the best player in the world. But he just keeps fucking things up for himself. I reallt thought this would have changed after winning two big championships.

But he tends to choke if he's one map of being eliminated. Although he could have had a 3-0 is he didn't proxy in g3. TY is notoriously bad at cheeses and timings compared to macro games. Even zest said so last year Maybe he's an sOs and only performs for big $$$

He had his back against the wall for most of IEM Katowijce, constantly a map away from elimination. But he still won. I will forgive him if he wins Blizzcon. But would be great to see him win a starleague, after all this time.

Most people didn't realize the qualifiers took place today. But from a post on a Korean forum I saw it seems he wants to focus on GSL.
