Leenock probably would retire
Also PWS said he's gonna meet with some SC2 this week (not sure who yet), I hope he's going to meet the KT players

Anyway he's planning on quitting pro gaming at the end of this year and start a more streaming route. He's quite tired of Starcraft at this point which is quite understandable considering how much he has played the game to this day. The idea is to stream different games (but primarly Overwatch) on both twitch and afreeca at the same time. He will still attend GSL qualifiers and see how he does but he won't try as hard anymore.
2017 will be like a different type of gaming year for him and then after that he will quit gaming as a profession probably.
Hope it was an informative update.

Yeah I read that, that's why I think he's probably going to retire
Also the worst thing to come out of this is probably the fact that Flash will never have the chance to make his dream of coming back to KT as a coach to help them being the best team in the world come true

Regarding Leenock:

Essentially unavoidable, one of the best years in SC2 history had to be done justice and then he went out like that.
It's pretty weird that I've essentially given up hope for Zest at Blizzcon this year. If this was HotS, even during his worst slump I could have still seen him PvP himself to the next round.
Was his performance in 2014 really that bad? Obviously losing in the first round as the favorite to win the whole thing isn't good but he lost 3-2 to the eventual champion who went on to be the best player in the world for 6 months straight after that. The only game I remember well is the long one on Nimbus so I am not sure how bad he played in the other games.
Life didn't play particularly well against him though. Zest made tons and tons of mistakes, most notably the failed cannon rush in game 5. But the first two games were pure badness as well.
Oh ya I remember that last game now. Failed cannon rush into dying to mass lings. That was really sad to watch. He would have definitely got to the semi finals if he won that first series.

He lost the first 2 games to lings getting through the wallin if I remember correctly. I think he didn't have a zealot there and relied on warp ins to block lings (which didn't happen). Shame because I honestly think he could have won Blizzcon that year if not for that (he was on FIRE in 2014).
Then again he got knocked out of GSL S2 due to not scouting a single proxy-3rax-maruader rush against Ryung. He'd have won his group 1st place if he did -_-
Buuuuuut, lets be fair Snute is not Life or Innovation, if there was a year he gets to Blizzcon ro8 it's now.

Snute? He's in a group with TRUE, Patience and Neeb. I genuinely think he's probably boned.
Zest please forgive me! I know myself that a little stress during work is unhealthy, and its hard to focus! If this issue with the disbandsthingie has gone on a while, all the slump issues starts to make sense. Really sorry for the proleague and the great casters, will be a much boreing world right now. GL with everything Zest <3

I forget the groups all got reseeded after Polt left. Well, still easier from Life or Innovation, that's something. Patience and True are probably the easiest Koreans he could go up against, other than maybe Dear.

By names it's the easiest entry round to Blizzcon he's ever faced. But it's also the worst form he's ever been in going into Blizzcon.
Patience kicked his ass straight out of SSL. I'm on team 0 confidence for Zest.
